What sound formats can be imported into Scratch?

Scratch can import WAV files and some MP3s. Other sound formats cannot be imported directly, but can be converted.

Converting sound files

You can use an external audio editor (such as Audacity, a digital open source audio editor) to convert many sound file formats to the correct formats.
