Hello! This is my talk page! Ask any questions you desire! (But please, if you have a question concerning my Scratch account or my projects use My Scratch Profile instead.) Also please stop leaving me messages about me telling that one guy on the forums what he did wrong in his requests notes. Also fun fact I've gotten into the habit of compressing files, buts pls don't think of it as a bad thing.

For Your "Irrelevant Files" Question

I noticed that you asked here that if you can use unrelated files for AFD pages. The answer is yes. What Jvvg said here was that you cannot use the Wiki as an image host on the forums or on external platforms.

Oh ok. So I can add a "Picture" of Y Mouse to post there?

Unisparks8 (talk | contribs) 17:11, 18 March 2026 (UTC)
It's completely fine. Don't do it to forum pages, though. Example, there is a burning Gobo which isn't related to the actual page topic. Also, please make sure to a : for every reply.

Ok

They deleted the default welcome template.

@ENDYOURENITE Really? Why?
Unisparks8 (talk | contribs) 21:13, 24 March 2026 (UTC)
I think you accidentally deleted it.
Endyourenite|Talk| Contribs926|Scratch| 21:35, 24 March 2026 (UTC)
@ENDYOURENITE No, I haven't got one. This is the first one. I didn't delete it.

Yeah you accidentally deleted it while testing. Don't worry I undeleted it.

A question

On Scratchmakermeow's talk page, were you trying to make a custom signature. If so, then you should read S:SIG.
cookedasparagus8talk pagecontributions (662)scratch profile 03:11, 25 April 2026 (UTC)

I am using the default signature.
Unisparks8 (talk | contribs) 13:51, 25 April 2026 (UTC)

Redirects

Anyone can redirect a page, not just admins. In the visual editor, click the hamburger menu, "page settings" and then type a redirect target. In the source editor, replace the page contents with #REDIRECT New Page. However, I have redirected the page for you in this case.
Mrsrec (talk | contribs) 16:38, 1 May 2026 (UTC)

It was more "If I do this wrong I don't want to be Thanos snapped" and "If I do this wrong I don't want to be banned" then "Only admin can do this".
Unisparks8 (talk | contribs) 16:40, 1 May 2026 (UTC)
You are not going to be banned for only making one or two genuine mistakes. And, of course, now that you know how to redirect a page, you can guarantee you'll redirect it successfully with zero mistakes!
Mrsrec (talk | contribs) 19:41, 1 May 2026 (UTC)

Please stop linking to my userpage in your welcome message

Hi,

It seems like your welcome message links to my userpage in the context of me controlling WikiMonitor. Please don't do this, as it results in me getting a notification every time. Also, more generally, WikiMonitor, while controlled by me, exists as its own entity, you can just say "WikiMonitor" (or better yet, don't mention the bot at all, just knowing the talk page rules is fine, they don't need to be warned about a bot tracking them).
jvvg (talk | contribs) 17:02, 1 May 2026 (UTC)

Sorry, I didn't think you would be bothered by it, and I didn't know you received a notification from it. I can change the new messages to just say "Wikimonitor will spam your talk page" instead.
Unisparks8 (talk | contribs) 17:05, 1 May 2026 (UTC)
I left a message on Codingsochill's talk page. It just said "Bots". It that ok?
Unisparks8 (talk | contribs) 13:36, 4 May 2026 (UTC)

Please do not tell people what they missed in their request notes

Hi,

Please don't tell people, on the forums or elsewhere, what they missed when making an account request. The main purpose of the account request system is to make sure people can read and follow instructions, and telling them what they missed undermines that.
jvvg (talk | contribs) 22:18, 1 May 2026 (UTC)

Sorry. But doesn't S:WHYNOTACCEPT kinda do that?
Unisparks8 (talk | contribs) 22:26, 1 May 2026 (UTC)
I've taken a look at what Jvvg was referring to and yes, please stop doing this. Even if they miss the pretty box word, let them figure it out on their own.
cookedasparagus8talk pagecontributions (662)scratch profile 02:39, 2 May 2026 (UTC)
Please stop. He already said he wasn't going to request again. Also I was never told that we don't tell people what they did wrong in their requests.
Unisparks8 (talk | contribs) 13:38, 2 May 2026 (UTC)
S:WHYNOTACCEPT doesn't give tailored advice to the user, and still requires they actually read through a full page. While we don't explicitly say not to tell other users what they missed, it is pretty strongly implied by the fact that we require users to write their own requests, similar to how your teacher may not explicitly say it's not ok to copy someone else's test, but everyone knows (or should know) that.
jvvg (talk | contribs) 03:02, 3 May 2026 (UTC)
Furthering this, we *do* in fact explicitly say on S:CONTRIB that "your request notes must be your own work". If you help someone else with them, it would no longer be their own work, similar to copying someone else's paper as jvvg said. The intent with this is not to "gang up" on you, just don't explicitly tell users what they should change; instead link them to S:WHYREJECT and you'll be fine.

A note about talk pages...

Hello Unisparks8. Thank you so much for letting new users know how to use talk pages. It is by far the most confusing and unintuitive part of learning to edit wikis so it really helps. I wanted to let you know that simply writing @Username doesn't ping them, and you have to write @Username instead (click Edit to see the difference). I would recommend editing your message to reflect that in the future. But, overall, thank you for the work with leaving those messages!
Mrsrec (talk | contribs) 20:59, 11 May 2026 (UTC)

I can start leaving mèṣ̌şàĝèṣ saying you have to ping someone using ĺïʼnķś, with .

Unisparks8 (talk | contribs (247)) 21:04, 11 May 2026 (UTC)

Any particular reason for the special characters in the words "messages" and "links"?
Mrsrec (talk | contribs) 05:40, 12 May 2026 (UTC)
Because why not? Also why does my siggy format funny

Unisparks8 (talk | contribs (247)) 12:14, 12 May 2026 (UTC)

I edited your signature

I have get rid of the first two empty lines as it's including them and positions your signature incorrectly.
Endyourenite|Talk| Contribs926|Scratch| 14:32, 14 May 2026 (UTC)

@ENDYOURENITE Thanks, but now it looks broken. Unisparks8 (talk | contribs (247)) 14:35, 14 May 2026 (UTC)

Yes Should be fixed!
Endyourenite|Talk| Contribs926|Scratch| 14:43, 14 May 2026 (UTC)

Please make a Minisig

Yes Resolved (since 15:46 14 May, 2026)

Please create User:Unisparks8/Minisig with the content "" and put this as your preference signature (the minisig) because if you set it to /Signature, when you sign the four tides and save, it inserts the content of the signature, which includes this:
<br> Unisparks8 ( | <span style="color:#003cff">(</span><span style="color:#F0F"></span><span style="color:#003cff">)</span>)
Which causes a mess in any talk page. Once you created the page and change your default signature in settings, on talk pages once save with four tides, it should be . Thanks!
Endyourenite|Talk| Contribs926|Scratch| 14:41, 14 May 2026 (UTC)

I think I did it right
Unisparks8 (talk | contribs (247)) 14:45, 14 May 2026 (UTC)
Yes Correct!
Endyourenite|Talk| Contribs926|Scratch| 14:46, 14 May 2026 (UTC)

I edited your sandbox

I added a |cat=no to your faq template because it's automatically adding your sandbox into FAQs, which aren't for userpaces, if you didn't know faq template automatically adds a category. Thanks for the read!
Endyourenite|Talk| Contribs926|Scratch| 16:46, 15 May 2026 (UTC)

Edited again for same reason.
