Hi, I noticed you made a bunch of recategorization edits on files recently. I appreciate that you want to better describe them, but I noticed that you often switched categories when it would have been better to add the latter, not replace the former with it. For example, File:Oops error.png is both an error image and a Scratch 3.0 image, and should therefore have both categories (and I have re-added the Category:Scratch 3.0) rather than replacing the 3.0 category with Category:Error Images. Only when the latter is a subcategory of the former (like Category:Scratch 3.0 → Category:Scratch 3.0 Block Images), or when the former doesn't really apply, or when the former was Category:Other Images, should the latter replace the former. Hope you can keep this in mind in the future. Thanks for your contributions so far!

Hi, nice signature! I like the style you've got going. However, I can't actually read your dark-ish-colored username against the dark background. That's fine on your userpage, where it's your choice whether to make it readable or not, but your signature goes on talk pages everywhere and must be able to clearly identify you. Could you please modify your signature to be more immediately readable? A change in either text color or background color should accomplish that. Thanks!

Sorry for getting back so late. No, it's dark purple on black. (Also, your signature dedents for some reason. Probably you have a leading linebreak rather than a br element in the signature.) Sorry.

Hi, I undid your edit on {{unreleased}} because it's generally the responsibility of the template user to add the |cat=no parameter when using it on userpages. If you want to keep the namespace detecting logic:

• You should add it to all templates that add a category.
• You may want to consolidate the entire category logic into a meta-template.
  Something like {{catlink|<category name>|<{{{cat|}}} goes in here>}}.
• In either above case, you should propose it on the Community Portal first. I would support this.
• You might consider adding the ability for |cat=yes to re-add the category on namespaces excluded by default.

A meta-template (e.g. {{Header Template}}) is a template mainly used by other templates rather than on actual pages. My suggestion is to have Template:Catlink be used on templates that add categories to abstract the logic of handling |cat=yes or no and actually adding the category.

FYI, you can use <onlyinclude> around only the parts you want, instead of <noinclude> around only the parts you don't.

Your draft looks good! One thing I would like, though, is to be able to specify which namespaces have "no" behavior. Maybe {{catlink|Category Name|cat={{{cat}}}|ns={{ns:0}}{{ns:4}}}} would add the category on mainspace and projectspace if cat is not "no", and on others only if cat is "yes", for example. By default, {{{ns}}} would be only {{ns:0}}.

I've noticed you moving category links after interwiki links a few times now, so I'm here to let you know that the convention is one line of category links followed by one line of interwiki links (if present, no blank lines in between). Like this:

[[ru:Russian link]][[id:Indonesian link]]

Pretty much just read the subject. Only make the change if you can clean up the article in other ways in the same edit. Don't dedicate an entire copy of the article's content just to remove a line break.

Please do not make the page title a color that makes it invisible. While you can style the title, it still needs to be readable since making it invisible can cause confusion to anyone who needs to know what page they're on. Thanks!
