A Small Note

  1. This page is meant for talking to TenType. If you want to talk to someone else, go to their talk page.
  2. Please follow all the guidelines (Community and Scratch Wiki).
  3. Be respectful when posting. If your post is disrespectful, your post may be removed.
  4. Think about your post before posting.
  5. All questions are welcome - Wiki, Scratch-related, and personal questions are cool here.
  6. Assume good faith if I make a mistake.
  7. Refer to me as TenType, or TT for short. Please do not accidentally lowercase something in my name (like Tentype) it will irritate me.
  8. I like to use the Yes Done and No Not done format like the Community Portal, so if you think your topic/post isn't getting much attention or needs more attention, add No Not done (Optional) by typing {{Not done}} to the top of the topic. (below the title). Also add Yes Done (Please do) by typing {{Done}} and a <br/> (to add an extra blank line) if your discussion is completed (exception goes to Welcome and bot messages). This is for convenience and ease to users (and me) viewing this talk page.
  9. If you haven't responded to one of the posts here that I have sent and that is not done, I will send this message: User:TenType/Reply within 1-5 days. (I'll wait to see if you remember to check your watchlist)

congrat s :))

How do you use a custom font??
Staffordboys (talk | contribs) 19:48, 11 November 2019 (UTC)

Use <span style="font-family:NAME">TEXT</span>. Like this:
TEXT. Look at my header for reference.

Coolio, also how do I quote things? That's a thing, right? -oh also, it says that my ref tag is bad and it's not showing up in the references section, but the link still works? What's wrong with the tag?
Groko13 (talk | contribs) 02:57, 12 November 2019 (UTC)

Slashes go at the end part of the code on the Wiki so it would be </ref>, not <ref/>. (also, FYI, we don't really reference things on talk pages; I've hidden the reference for now)
For quoting, you can use {{Template:Quote|<quote here>|<user who said this>}}. See Template:Quote for more info.

Thanks, also, I have another question: am I allowed to upload random images onto the wiki to put on my user page? (for example, if I wanted a picture of a tree on my user page for some reason, could I upload it? Also, do I have to upload images to put them on pages, or is there another way?)
Groko13 (talk | contribs) 03:14, 12 November 2019 (UTC)
Yes, you may upload files for your userspace. Just don't upload them to use on other websites- we aren't an image hosting service.

Help please

How do I add a subpage to my user space? Also, can I have as many subpages as I want?
Groko13 (talk | contribs) 01:30, 13 November 2019 (UTC)

You can use something like User:Groko13/SUBPAGENAME (replace SUBPAGENAME with whatever you want). Technically, you can have as many subpages as you want.

Okay, so I just go to the URL and if the page doesn't exist, I create it, right? Or is there another way to create pages?
Groko13 (talk | contribs) 02:56, 13 November 2019 (UTC)
Either do that or go to S:CREATE.
TenType (talk | contribs) 02:57, 13 November 2019 (UTC)
Okay, thanks!
