Welcome!
By the way, I've compiled a list of tips for New Wikians. To see them, click "Expand" on the right side of the box below.
New Wikian Tips |
---|
These tips were written by Bigpuppy and transcluded from this page. The original version was written for Dressygirl, but now they are quite different. Thanks to jvvg and Kenny2scratch for helping me touch it up. I originally wrote the indenting instructions for Ski-, but I've changed them a lot for these tips. |
Have fun on the Scratch Wiki, and good luck editing!

Couple Tips if I may:
Be sure to check your watchlist often. You automatically watch a page when you edit it. If you check your watchlist, you will know if someone replied to you.
Or you can check the Recent Changes.
Hope to See you SOON!

Welcome!
Welcome to the Scratch Wiki!
Welcome to the English Scratch Wiki StormMaker2395! Congratulations on getting your account accepted! I'm Ash, and I am more than happy to answer any questions you may have. You can message me on my talk page if you need help with anything on the Wiki, have a question you want to ask, or just to chat.
If you want to find pages to edit, then you could look at some articles to expand or some article stubs to find pages that you can improve. Alternatively, you could have a look at the innacurate articles to find places to add references.
Have great time on the Wiki, StormMaker2395!

I unfortunately had to delete your page "Scrolling Engine"
Hello, and welcome to the Scratch Wiki!
Unfortunately I had to delete your page Scrolling Engine because we already have an article on how to write a scroller: Scrolling (sprites). However, please feel free to improve that article if you feel it is missing anything.
Please do not be discouraged by this. This is not an alert or anything similar. I'm just maintaining organization of the Wiki. It takes a while to learn the ropes of Wiki editing, and the best way to do so is by editing. I look forward to seeing what else you will contribute in the future.

Good luck in your future endeavors!
I see from your userpage you're moving on from Scratch to learn HTML/JS. As someone who is now a professional web developer (which involves a lot of HTML/JS), I just want to say good luck and I hope you go on to build some amazing things.

- Thank you! Hey, you wouldn't mind if I came to you to ask for help every now and again right, since you are pretty good at it I assume. I mean, you kinda did program WikiMonitor.
StormMaker2395 (talk | contribs) 06:33, 25 January 2021 (UTC)- Feel free. I can't guarantee I'll be able to answer any given question, but I'll give them all my best shot. Yes, I did program WikiMonitor (I programmed the whole thing), but I have also done a lot of much cooler stuff.
jvvg (talk | contribs) 16:24, 25 January 2021 (UTC)- Whats the site or program you use to code on? I am having a hard time in finding one
StormMaker2395 (talk | contribs) 17:54, 25 January 2021 (UTC)- For getting started in HTML/JS, w3schools.com has some good starter tutorials. My general approach for learning (after having learned the basics anyway) was to start with a project in mind and then find the resources to learn the specific things I needed for that project.
jvvg (talk | contribs) 20:54, 25 January 2021 (UTC)- Ah alright. Thanks you! I appreciate the help!

- Real quick, how do I get set up and everything. I noticed my name was red and your name was blue but when I click on my name I get a "Create Page" thing versus when I click on your name, I get info about you
XII_RH1N0 (talk | contribs) 01:45, 26 January 2021 (UTC)- Uh yea, you gotta set that up on your own. I cannot really help you out with that.
