You're back!
So did you do what I told you to get your pass?
Scimonster (talk | contribs) 10:29, 4 April 2011 (UTC)
- I did! I'm back baby! Let's get this smalltalk library underway :D
Sparks (talk | contribs) 10:54, 4 April 2011 (UTC)- And look at this too! :D You want to start it? I think it will be a tutorial, not a library. But the block lib will be... IDK, how would it be done? :P
Scimonster (talk | contribs) 11:04, 4 April 2011 (UTC)- Yeah, you showed me that a while back, not much seems to have happened there so are we allowed to make a squeak page?
Sparks (talk | contribs) 11:47, 4 April 2011 (UTC)- Yes.
Scimonster (talk | contribs) 11:49, 4 April 2011 (UTC)- Sounds good :) I don't have too large a work load at the moment so I can help out quite a bit before my exams start! I suppose the entire tutorial would be on one page with jumper points to different areas or would a multi-page squeak tutorial be better?
Sparks (talk | contribs) 11:51, 4 April 2011 (UTC)- Single page. :) I have to go now, I'll see what you did later.

Smalltalk page
I've set up the beginnings of a page here: [[1]]. I hope this is looking alright, I haven't spent much time on here but I think it fits the wiki critera!
Sparks (talk | contribs) 17:31, 4 April 2011 (UTC)
- It certainly does not. >_< I moved it to Squeak Tutorial. You also shouldn't use first person in the article- never. I'm editing it now, maybe it will look a little better...
Scimonster (talk | contribs) 18:04, 4 April 2011 (UTC)- Whoops, Sorry! I'm going out tonight so I'll take a look later! Sorry for my inexperience!
Sparks (talk | contribs) 18:24, 4 April 2011 (UTC)- OK. Just for future reference: categorize articles, spaces and single line breaks don't do anything, that should not have been a sub-page of Scratch Wiki.
Scimonster (talk | contribs) 18:32, 4 April 2011 (UTC)- Oh, and your "table" didn't work, I put it into proper table format.

- Aw... don't be too negative Scimonster :P And don't worry Sparks - you'll learn pretty quickly :)
Jonathanpb (talk | contribs) 22:58, 4 April 2011 (UTC)- Thanks JPB, I wasn't trying to format tables or add headings etc, those were left over from when I copied it out of the notepad file. The layout was from there.
Sparks (talk | contribs) 23:23, 4 April 2011 (UTC)- Ah, OK.
- @Jon: I wasn't trying to be negative, just "for future reference".

- Format wise aside, Does the content I posted look helpful? It's from a guide I put together quite some time ago designed to be a true introduction into it. Most tutorials throw you in at the deep end and the ones who don't drown pull through in Scratch :P
