Incorrect flle name

Hi! I just noticed that you have put incorrect file name that is uploaded in your sandbox . I have renamed it into Sprite image Scratchtheguy1.png Please be careful while naming a file. Please compress files you upload

Hello, I'm TemplatesFTW, a bot that does various maintenance tasks in the background. This is just a friendly reminder that when uploading File:New scratcher shares a project.jpg and File:The message.png, the image size was kinda big, and it could have been smaller if you had compressed it with TinyPNG. Don't worry - I compressed it for you, but I just want to ask you to compress any files you upload, before uploading them. Thanks!

Please rename your file

Hi,

You uploaded a file called File:My pfp.png for your signature. Normally I would move this for you, but given that it's in your signature and this would break it, I'm asking you to give it a less generic title, such as "Scratchtheguy1 pfp.png" or something along those lines to avoid confusion.

I had to delete your essay

Hi,

I had to delete your essay "The UABU situation" due to the nature of it. The majority of the content of the essay was calling out other studios and individual users, which is a violation of the Community Guidelines, and it additionally was saying disrespectful things about entire genres of content, which is also a violation of Community Guidelines.

Please do not re-create the essay or variations of it, as due to the nature of the subject it really isn't possible to do so in a way that follows Community Guidelines.

The fact that a user or studio (or anything else) is deleted on Scratch does not make it ok to talk about it in a negative way. In the end, creating content dedicated to hate (whether that be against a person, group, interest, type of content, or anything else) is not allowed since it's a violation of the "Treat everyone with respect" and "Help keep the site friendly" parts of the Scratch Community Guidelines.

We do not allow discussing bans since it is very difficult to keep them from escalating into a lot of drama or other users getting involved. We had allowed users to discuss bans in the past, but after a number of cases where users either caused drama directly or led to drama being caused indirectly, we had to switch to banning discussion of bans entirely. In the end discussing bans leads to a lot of things we really don't want, such as other users getting involved (whether or not the banned user asks for it), users complaining about the reasons, spreading false information, and generally just the whole idea of making a spectator sport out of people getting in trouble.
