On your edit to "How can projects become popular"

I found that you did not cite your edit. If you can find a source for why remixing projects and replacing them is discouraged, that would be greatly appreciated. Note that the Scratch Wiki isn't based on opinion and only covers objective facts, which means you have to have a source for each edit. To put a source on the page (or "citing" it) you must use this code: <ref>https://yourlink.here</ref>

@Co0lcr34t10ns I'd argue this is a violation of the community guidelines since it asks for people to "make a meaningful change to [any remixed project]", and just uploading your project as a remix in a popular project is arguably not a meaningful change. Even ignoring this, I don't like the idea of removing that sentence... while yes, remixing a popular project does let you get more popular, it's not exactly ethical to use a project's popularity to promote your project, and I don't want people reading the wiki to try and use this.

If more people are going into this discussion, I am going to move it to the actual talk page of that article. This is also more about citing the sentence rather than removing it. And the whole section needs more citing. Anyways, I'm going to move to the discussion onto that page and I'll @ everyone there. Talk:How_can_projects_become_popular
