You could create a page like User:RokCoder/Asteroid Tutorial if you want by typing that in the search bar and clicking the red text.

Also, if you are just testing out stuff, you could make/use your sandbox.

Kenny2scratch logo.jpgWelcome to the Scratch Wiki! I look forward to the useful edits you'll make and hope you'll have fun here. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me on my talk page, where you can talk about the Wiki, get my help with templates, or even ask personal questions, and more! If you need quick help with wiki markup, take a look at Scratch Wiki:Cheatsheet. You might want to go to Category:Articles to Expand to find pages that need editing. I get my inspiration from Special:RecentChanges however, so looking at that helps too. See you around, RokCoder;

Please don't make several edits in a short amount of time

It appears you have made a large amount of edits (8 in the last hour) in quick succession to the page User:RokCoder/Asteroids Tutorial recently. Please use the "Show preview" button before submitting edits to prevent this in the future.
This message was sent by an automated bot run by jvvg. You can contact him on his talk page with any concerns.

Yes, please use the "Show preview" button before saving edits. In Special:RecentChanges, the entire first screen is almost filled with your edits.

A reminder

Hello! I'd like to remind you that Scratchblocks are still here! You could've just used the Block Plugin with <sb> to show the scripts instead of uploading a bunch of files. In the future, please use the plugin as the files filled up Recent Changes! Thanks! :)
TenType (talk | contribs) 04:27, 28 January 2020 (UTC)

Thanks for the information/tip. I thought the block plugin was outdated and still focussed on 2.0? I know the scratch block generator page that I used to use has been deprecated which makes it a painful and longwinded process to convert long sections of script. Unless it has been modified the blocks don't contain all the necessary 3.0 blocks and also has incorrect colours for many blocks which makes it sadly unsuitable for the purpose of a tutorial. If this has been updated then I will be over the moon and will happily replace the PNG images forthwith :)

The block plugin has been updated for 3.0. If you aren't familiar with Scratchblocks syntax, I can make a copy of your article and rewrite the scripts in Scratchblocks, that way, they will be easier to see. If you want me to, just reply! :)

Another thing for your Adventure Tutorial

Hello! I've recently undid your edit of adding the section of providing feedback for teachers, because linking to Google documents are generally avoided. I suggest as an alternative to this, say that for feedback, comment on your profile. Thanks!
TenType (talk | contribs) 02:27, 29 January 2020 (UTC)

Hi @TenType. I appreciate all you do for the Scratch Wiki but I think this particular decision is incorrect. The document in question is designed to allow teachers to improve a tutorial that is for the benefit of Scratchers in general and will be used in Code Clubs and schools around the UK (and possible world). Scratch profiles are not a forum suitable for discussing this feedback. You say linking to Google documents is generally avoided but I'm sure this is one of those occasions when it is permitted. I can't find a method to undo your undo so am manually reentering the section in good faith. Again, many thanks for the work you do to maintain the Wiki.

Unfortunately google docs provides a way of unfiltered and unmoderated communication, Google docs products are not allowed on scratch or on the wiki even if the link sharing is anonymous and view-only. As an alternative I suggest ScratchEd, since it's part of of the scratch family and it's also more geared to educators.

Sorry, but Google Docs are never allowed in any circumstances. May I suggest opening a forum topic about it?

Don't take ownership of other's comments

Hi. On my talk page, you changed the signature of my post to your signature. This might have been confusion or an accident, which I understand, but if you did it on purpose, can you explain why? Thanks.

It was a complete accident by a wiki noob! Sorry. I did post to your talk page about it but am replying here, too, just for some wiki practice :)
