Your request notes

Hello again, and welcome to the Scratch Wiki! (The above message was automatically generated, this one is actually me talking). When reading your request, I noticed that your request notes were written particularly well and very meticulously researched. I was wondering if you would be ok with the Wiki administration publishing them as an example of the kinds of requests that we are looking for? Don't worry, we won't be offended at all if you say no.

To reply to this message, just edit this section (click the "Edit" button to the right of "Your request notes", and right below this message, write your reply. Start your reply with a colon to indent it (e.g. ":My reply"). Also, please end your reply with 4 tildes (~~~~) to sign your post. For a much more detailed explanation, please read Help:Talk Page. Thanks!

My reply

You are welcome to use my request as an example. Out of curiosity, where specifically would it be posted? I just want to be able to look at it. I noticed in the automatic message it read "...We will appreciate it of you make a lot of edits to the wiki...". Should it not have read "...We will appreciate it if you make a lot of edits to the wiki..."? (Sorry if my editing annoys you). I'll take a look at those links now. Question: Can everyone see the Sandbox? Or is it just my Sandbox?

We are considering making a page of sample good and bad requests. It would be posted there, and we would link to it from S:CONTRIB. Also, I agree with your suggestions for the automated edits, and just fixed it. Thanks for letting me know!

You're welcome! Question: is it okay to leave a new page with some missing information? I'm working on creating Scratch video update, and I left it a bit empty last night.
Purplebook163 (talk | contribs) 21:31, 3 July 2015 (UTC)
In general, yes it is ok (though you should mark it with {{Stub}} or {{Expand}} at the top). However, in that specific case, there was actually an existing article about the same topic (Video Updates), so I had to delete the one you made. I did add the stuff from your article that wasn't in the original into the original, though.

I did notice that this morning. Sorry for the mistake. Question: How do I create a sub page? I looked through the help articles and couldn't find anything.

Nevermind, I figured it out. I think for now I'll stick to editing, and playing around in the sandbox.

Hi again! I noticed that on User talk:Mangabirds6 the automatic message still has the typo you said you fixed. Just thought you would like to know.

──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────── It appears I forgot to save my edit last time. I remembered to save it this time, though. ;)

Hi

Hi! Here I am, and I figured out of to communicate with people :). I'm still stuck on the emojies. Anyway, I hope I don't mess anything up here and good luck ;D.
Makethebrainhappy (talk | contribs) 01:20, 6 July 2015 (UTC)

XD I don't think there are any emojis on the Wiki... Good luck to you too!
Purplebook163 (talk | contribs) 21:30, 6 July 2015 (UTC)
There actually are emoticons on the Wiki! You just type {{s|:)}} (or whatever other emoticon you want to use). See Template:S for details.
