- @PrincessPandaLover Honestly, this entire Sonic thing has gotten to be too much. If I will, a few Sonic items here and there is perfectly fine, but putting Sonic on EVERY single AF page? That's overkill. Please, it's too much, and if this is going to continue, things might not look good.
- @TheHockeyist As for removing all Sonic, that's also not good. Removing and adding and removing and adding back and forth is not going to stop anything. We need to find that fine balance inbetween, and then we'll be good (I sure hope.) And don't threaten to start another flame war, just because she called you that. There are better ways.

Let me first start my comment by stating that I'm not going to discuss the placement of Sonic or similar content in the AF articles. While that is an issue that I do plan to discuss with all relevant parties, there is a much more important issue that does need to be resolved immediately.
The main problem that I see here is an ongoing one. There has been mutual disrespect going on between the two of you (PPL and TheHockeyist) for quite some time now, and this really needs to stop. PrincessPandaLover, please stop being so aggressive and rude when defending your usage of Sonic in articles (once again, I am not talking about the actual placement in the AF articles right now, so please do not reply to my message about that). Calling someone else "Sticks the Badger" is pretty rude, and being condescendingly dismissive of edits is really not helpful to anybody.
TheHockeyist, please try to be calm about this too. Making threats (for example threatening another flame war as you have here) and shouting at other users really doesn't do anything to calm down the situation. If there is a problem that you can not resolve with calm and reasoned messages, please contact an admin to deal with the situation. We can always discuss this with the user in question, and in the worst case protect the affected pages to prevent further edits. Shouting only makes this worse.
Finally, both of you, please remember that although the AF pages are treated differently from the rest of the Wiki, a few rules from the main Wiki still do apply. The main rules are assuming good faith and the general Scratch Community Guidelines, specifically the following rule:
- Be respectful. When sharing projects or posting comments, remember that people of many different ages and backgrounds will see what you’ve shared.
Both of you have been violating that rule. Please try to treat each other as human beings when you talk to each other. Imagine if you were talking about this in person - would you still talk the same way?
Once again, my message here is not taking any sides on the content itself, it is a message about the manner with which the two of you treat each other when discussing the content. I will discuss the content issue with both of you when this issue here is resolved.
TheHockeyist and PrincessPandaLover, please respond to this message to let me know you have received and read it. Please read it fully, as there is a lot of important stuff in it. If anything at all is unclear, please feel free to ask me to clarify. KrIsMa, ErnieParke, and I are also always here to help out, so if any problems do arise, we are there for you.

- I have read this message/warning/your preferred terminology in its entirety. The problem still exists, and it is in my best interests to protect the Sonic issue from going overboard. I am sure that the other parties involved will agree with me on this point. There is too much Sonic in the AF Wiki. It has gotten old. The mutual disrespect basically started when PPL had her Sonic obsession. I grew sick and tired of it and asked her to stop, and yet she continued to post Sonic as if I was being ignored. You can figure out what happened from there. I have tentatively agreed to an indefinite truce that if the existing Sonic content is diminished and no new Sonic content is being posted, then I will be completely okay with that. I am not aware if PPL has read this or not, or if she will even accept my terms for the tentative truce. But this is my viewpoint. Sonic content on AF Pages
In my previous message, I said I would bring this up, so here we go.
You have been adding content relating to Sonic to a large amount of April Fools' pages, such as Kaj, Scratch Cat, Scratch Cards, Text Based Games Forums, and many others. While there is nothing wrong with Sonic and I certainly have nothing against Sonic itself or having it on our April Fools' pages, the degree to which you are adding it seems to be a bit excessive.
While I certainly have my own topics that I love (such as subway systems) and understand your desire to add Sonic lot, please tone it down a bit. The amount of Sonic that you are adding is beginning to annoy other users, as they feel that their ideas are being left out from the AF Wiki and that they are being overshadowed.
Going forward, I'm not asking you to remove Sonic from any pages that already have it or asking you to cease adding it to new pages, but please be open to other users adding other stuff or replacing Sonic in order to diversify the themes on the AF Wiki a bit and allow them to express their own creativity.
Finally, as I said in the previous thread, if a dispute ever does come up, please try to discuss it calmly with the other user(s) involved and avoid an edit war. It is always easier for me to provide advice in a calm discussion than to try to defuse a heated argument and have to protect pages.

There's no need to completely remove Sonic from any page which already contains it. Sonic in AF articles was only a problem when PPL was trying to add Sonic to every single AF page on the wiki. But (s)he is no longer doing that (at least not since this message was posted), so I see no issue here. Also, User:jvvg/AF specifically states that you may not completely replace the main idea of an AF page without discussing it first. And finally, I saw that when PPL reverted your edit, you immediately reverted it back. Again, you should've discussed it with others before reverting it back, since only you and one other editor were removing the content, which is in no way consensus. Please check out S:BRD. Anyway, I reverted your edits per this. Please don't revert it back or I'll have to ask an admin to protect the page. If you'd like to change the idea of the page, please go ahead and discuss it on the talk page. Thank you.

- Hi! I hope it's okay if I answer your question. The boxes you are describing are called templates. A full list of templates is view able here, along with descriptions of where the templates should be used and how to use them. The page is not yet complete, but if you have any questions on a particular template, feel free to ask! I believe the template you are referring to is "In Progress", which you can see listed on the previously mentioned page here. I hope this helps you!

While I understand wanting to save server space, because the page is kept on the server, it doesn't save any space to delete it, and think about it this way: Which is more important: Helping New Scratchers or saving server space? Mitopolis, whilst I agree with you that Globe Button deserves an article, that doesn't mean that everyone believes that. You marked How to Download Scratch as NotUseful, but I personally believe that's a helpful tutorial. Everyone has their own opinion on which articles are useful and which aren't, and we should respect that and discuss it on the talk page if we disagree. Following the dispute that you and User:TheHockeyist have had at User:Jvvg/AF/Sixty-Second Rule, I have written a notice to the two of you at User talk:Jvvg/AF/Sixty-Second Rule. Here it is for your convenience:

Final decision on AF pages
The five of us has come to the conclusion that some of the April Fools' Sonic content is a bit repetitive and has already had its turn to be used during an April Fools' day. However, we feel that TheHockeyist is trying to remove the content simply out of spite and not for the right reasons. That's why we have come to the decision that some of the Sonic content may be changed to support a steady flow of new ideas to keep April Fools' articles from being stale, but not all the content to show that we do not support any sort of personal vendetta of removing Sonic content. We want to see new ideas cycle through on the AF Wiki and we want to see some variety within the pages, and having Sonic on a lot of them isn't conducive to that. That does not mean that there is no place for Sonic (or Kerbals), but they need to be used sparingly in a way that maintains the humor (this means humor for everybody, not just for the poster) and the diversity of ideas.

About the TBGs...
I only ask that we have a similar agreement to that on the Wiki on the TBGs as well, so that there, we can embrace diversity, variety of ideas, humor and fun for everyone (not just us), and formally end this terrible situation once and for all. We can avoid one idea being overused, and encourage the recycling and diversity of ideas to make it fun for everyone, and not make it miserable. We can end this. We can make the TBGs a better place. What do you say?
