Your post
Hi, i saw on User talk:Kenny2scratch that you signed your post with 5 tidals instead of 4, please sign it like ~~~~
instead of ~~~~~
. 5 tidals just produces a timestamp. Don't worry i have made this mistake many times

- Sorry, I obviously got over excited about hitting the ~ button. I was typing on a phone, that's probably why, thanks for notifying me!

I like your userpage!
I just saw your "jazzed up" edit; I never thought of using <choose> that way! A tip for you is to add "uncached" (i.e. <choose>
-> <choose uncached>
) so that the random choice actually changes every refresh, rather than every re-parse. I really do like your use of it, though!
kenny2scratch Talk Contribs Directory 05:07, 6 October 2018 (UTC)
- Thanks! <choose> has always been my favourite code. Will change it! Sorry about that colour hexicode thing! I understand now!

Don't reply on archives
Hi, I rolled back this edit of yours. You edited a message on a talk page archive of mine. Archives are meant to be read-only - they exist to record previous messages. The only reason my archive 12 isn't protected now is because it's not complete yet. I have a peculiar archiving system: I move any topics that are done to my latest archive, which is not protected; once the archive hits 20 topics, I protect and start a new archive. This does not, however, make the archive not an archive. If you want to bring up a past discussion, do so in a new message on the main talk page. Thanks!

- Thanks for notifying me about it. I was simply responding to asqwde's comment showing that indeed I had notified the point they were making. I was not aware that doing this was tresspasing on some policy/rule on the wiki or that responding to a recently active conversation that has been moved to a separate page was wrong/infringing your rights. The 'revive' word is unclear as the conversation wasn't exactly 'dead' and my post was not bringing a new point on the subject to life but simply showing I had understood the comment, it felt meaningless to bring up a new topic on their talk page and leave that previous conversation as if it were 'disregarded' by me in the eyes of any future viewer. Hope you understand. I was not meaning to add a valid reply to the archive and for that - I give my sincere apoligies.
NightSpeakers (talk | contribs) 17:32, 24 October 2018 (UTC)- Oof, I wasn't expecting a long apology. I just wanted to let you know that this guideline existed and that you had unintentionally violated it - didn't mean to make you feel bad.
kenny2scratch Talk Contribs Directory 11:59, 25 October 2018 (UTC)- LOL, you didn't. Thanks anyways!

About your second "Is it nice" guideline...
Swearing is generally prohibited here anyway (unlike on FANDOM) and we do have a bad word filter (though it's just the forums filter). Might want to consider removing/changing that guideline.

- I was considering that - and I would have done - had I not seen something on the French Scratch Wiki. I'll try and find the link, if you're interested.
NightSpeakers (talk | contribs) 08:00, 2 November 2018 (UTC)- There's swearing on the French wiki? Leave a link, though if it really is swearing I'll have to ask you to remove it immediately after posting it.
kenny2scratch Talk Contribs Directory 08:26, 2 November 2018 (UTC)- Okay, obviously it's swearing en français, shall we say? Anyway, it's an offence to the admins on the wiki found here.
NightSpeakers (talk | contribs) 08:31, 2 November 2018 (UTC) - I'm going now, so if you see the link - please remove it!
NightSpeakers (talk | contribs) 08:38, 2 November 2018 (UTC)- Okay, no need to remove the link - I censored the swears. (I neglected to mention that only the English wiki has a bad word filter for now...)
kenny2scratch Talk Contribs Directory 08:50, 2 November 2018 (UTC)- Thanks! Isn't the previous versions with the swears still available through the history?
NightSpeakers (talk | contribs) 09:38, 2 November 2018 (UTC)- No, I censored that too.
kenny2scratch Talk Contribs Directory 10:04, 2 November 2018 (UTC)- Ah, okay, thanks for clearing things up!
