Warning

Stop.png Please stop adding talk pages to pages without them.

Talk pages only will (or can) be added if there is something to talk about the article. That is why no talk page is ever blank.

Thanks a lot, have fun editing.

It's kind of intimidating to a new wikian to have a "warning" with a stop image. :/
@Mathfreak231: On the Scratch Wiki, we don't create empty talk pages simply so that they will show up. When you have a message about the page, that's when it gets created. I've deleted the empty ones. Hope you understand. :)
Scimonster (talk | contribs) 16:17, 29 November 2012 (UTC)
I do understand now. Thanks for the advice! :D
Mathfreak231 (talk | contribs) 21:07, 30 November 2012 (UTC)
It makes people feel good that you did not talk back or start a fight..... Thanks for understanding, continue your helpful edits :)
KrIsMa (talk | contribs) 21:12, 30 November 2012 (UTC)
Don't mention it. Doing something before I know that I'm not supposed to do it happens all the time with me. ;)
Mathfreak231 (talk | contribs) 21:15, 30 November 2012 (UTC)

sign your posts pls

Attention.png You may have forgot, but you forgot to sign your posts. This is the first time. The affected page is http://wiki.scratch.mit.edu/wiki/Talk:Tempo_(block), revision as of 22:04, 30 November 2012.

Thanks! (sorry for all the bad comments on your talk page, i just want you to know that if you post something in a talk page, you need to sign your posts with four tildas. and this is not the first time I posted this message on a talk page...)
KrIsMa (talk | contribs) 23:02, 30 November 2012 (UTC)

I can be a personal witness :P But its not bad reminding people, as long its relatively polite (relative to the rest of the internet).
Molybdenum (talk | contribs) 23:53, 1 December 2012 (UTC)
Lol, I guess that's one of the things I forget to do a lot on wikis. I know the basics of wikis, but I always have trouble remembering to sign my comments!
Mathfreak231 (talk | contribs) 23:54, 1 December 2012 (UTC)
Same here. I figured out simple parser thingys like "Mathfreak231 last editted this page", but I still do have trouble remembering to sign. Of course, I always remember afterwards, so I need another edit to add it :P
Molybdenum (talk | contribs) 15:43, 2 December 2012 (UTC)
That's what preview is for.

Disambig links

Thanks for fixing those up!
Scimonster (talk | contribs) 15:20, 25 December 2012 (UTC)

:) You're welcome! I got really bored, so I went into the disambiguation category, and found a bunch of disambiguation pages that certain pages link to a redirect to.
Mathfreak231 (talk | contribs) 20:39, 26 December 2012 (UTC)

I don't understand

Your first revision to the talk page is

http://wiki.scratch.mit.edu/index.php?title=Talk:Kitcat_(Scratch_Modification)&action=edit&oldid=53726.

KrIsMa Anamation2.gif KrIsMa user | talk | contribs | edits 04:20, 29 December 2012 (UTC)

That's what I used to do, before I got smart and added the section right away instead of submitting the page first then clicking "Comment".
I can't submit a blank talk page, so I just put in a comment that said something stupid like "trolololololol".
Mathfreak231 (talk | contribs) 17:57, 29 December 2012 (UTC)
Just go to the talk page and click Add topic as it should be there no matter what, as long as it's the talk page.

Thanks

Thanks for all your helpful edits on my Guidelines page; it is very helpful. However, it will be deleted shortly. I am sorry to say this, but your constructive paragraph will be removed. I will, however, keep a copy of the page on my computer :). Thanks for all your edits, and edit on!
KrIsMa Anamation2.gif KrIsMa user | talk | contribs | edits 20:01, 3 January 2013 (UTC)

I guess that's okay, but the way you said it seems kinda cheesy...
Mathfreak231 (talk | contribs) 15:02, 4 January 2013 (UTC)
I speak like that sometimes :P
KrIsMa Anamation2.gif KrIsMa user | talk | contribs | edits 18:56, 4 January 2013 (UTC)

Lol!

Lol! Your template: I though it was really accidently made! I will add a category section for it.
KrIsMa Anamation2.gif KrIsMa user | talk | contribs | edits 15:43, 5 January 2013 (UTC)

Lulz back! :) I made it because one time, someone made a page, and because no such template existed for this, they had to use the notUseful template instead. BTW, I just recently found a use for it!
Mathfreak231 (talk | contribs) 15:46, 5 January 2013 (UTC)
I can find useful uses formthe template. Anyways, any pages with the template will be filed in the new category page. If you want the template not to be categirized, add a |cat=no at the end if the template, like this: {{Accidently Created|cat=no}}
KrIsMa Anamation2.gif KrIsMa user | talk | contribs | edits 15:53, 5 January 2013 (UTC)
Thank you!
Mathfreak231 (talk | contribs) 15:54, 5 January 2013 (UTC)

External Links

In general, we like to keep the section, and not include the link as the bold text.
Scimonster (talk | contribs) 14:09, 22 February 2013 (UTC)

Hmm. I just thought it would be easier for newbies to find if they didn't have to scroll down.
Mathfreak231 (talk | contribs) 14:16, 22 February 2013 (UTC)

Welcome!

(A belated) welcome to the wiki! How long have you been on here?
Firedrake969 (talk | contribs) 18:08, 9 March 2013 (UTC)

*trollface* Well, you WERE the first to call it...
I've been on here since November 27.
Mathfreak231 (talk | contribs) 12:43, 10 March 2013 (UTC)
I've been here for a while, but just got active.
