Welcome to the English Scratch Wiki MaterArc! Congratulations on getting your account accepted! I'm Ash, and I am more than happy to answer any questions you may have. You can message me on my talk page if you need help with anything on the Wiki, have a question you want to ask, or just to chat.
If you want to find pages to edit, then you could look at some articles to expand or some article stubs to find pages that you can improve. Alternatively, you could have a look at the innacurate articles to find places to add references.
Have great time on the Wiki, MaterArc!

- i got a random welcome message on my talk page
Gatgatcode (talk | contribs) Wiki 23:07, 19 April 2022 (UTC)- Hi! Yes, wikians do that to introduce themselves to you! :)
MaterArc (talk | contribs) 23:08, 19 April 2022 (UTC)- you seem to be doing this on established wikians' (including experienced wikians) talk pages, welcoming them to the wiki though 08:35, 21 April 2022 (UTC)
- How do I know when they join? I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to xD
MaterArc (talk | contribs) 21:51, 22 April 2022 (UTC)- Check this to see when new user accounts are created instead of going round randomly. Also please remember to indent your posts using one more colon than the previous person, in this case you should type ::: before your post. You can see that your post is on the edge while mine is correctly indented.
Adzboy β’ Talk β’ Contributions β’ Scratch Profile 14:31, 23 April 2022 (UTC)- You don't need to start a new line for your siggy. Just place it immediately after your post. In this case you haven't so it has caused a formatting issue. Just place ~~~~ immediately without any spaces or new lines.

Welcome Templates
Hi there, it's great that you're eager to welcome people to the wiki! I just wanted to let you know of the following points:
- Please only welcome users who have joined recently (I'd say within the past week, but others might say something different). You can find new users at Special:Log/newusers.
- Please always add new talk page messages, welcomes included, at the bottom of the page. You can add a new message to the bottom of the page by clicking the pencil icon, then "New topic" (assuming you're using the default Scratch Wiki interface, or "skin").
- Please always add headings before your posts. If you're using the aforementioned "New topic" button, a heading will automatically be added to your post from whatever you put in the subject line.
- Please always sign your posts with
~~~~
. - If there are already five personal welcomes on a given talk page, please do not add any more as per S:USERSPACE#User talk pages. I removed some of your welcomes because of this rule.
Please note that you're not in trouble, I just want to help you understand how to most effectively welcome new users. If you have any questions about this, please feel free to ask on my talk page or the Community Portal. Thank you for reading and understanding!
- Hi, again, please leave talk page messages at the bottom of the page. If you need help with this, please ask. Thank you!
Hello there, MaterArc!
Hi MaterArc! You just left a message in my talk page a few days ago, and because of countless of edits, I thought you're a New Wikian. But no, you joined Scratch Wiki on around May 2021.
Tematikkp (talk | contribs) 04:32, 23 April 2022 (UTC)
- Hi, yes. I am a wikian here, and joined around that time :)
Hi, just a friendly reminder- Please sign your posts. On Jask's talk page you forgot to sign your signature. You can sign your posts with 4 tiles (~~~~) after you make a post
- That post was made quite a while ago when he was testing his welcome template. I believe he knows how to sign his posts now.
Adzboy β’ Talk β’ Contributions β’ Scratch Profile 14:30, 13 July 2022 (UTC)- Yep! Thanks for the reminder, and thanks @Adzboy for responding
MaterArc (talk | contribs) 19:05, 16 July 2022 (UTC)- No problem. Please remember to indent though. Also, you don't need a new line for a new post or a new line for your signature.
