Welcome!
Welcome to the Scratch Wiki! I look forward to the useful edits you'll make and hope you'll have fun here. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me on my talk page, where you can talk about the Wiki, get my help with templates, or even ask personal questions, and more! If you need quick help with wiki markup, take a look at Scratch Wiki:Cheatsheet. You might want to go to Category:Articles to Expand to find pages that need editing. I get my inspiration from Special:RecentChanges however, so looking at that helps too. See you around, Jedibrine; |

Welcome
Welcome to the Scratch Wiki!
Hi Jedibrine and welcome to the Scratch Wiki! I'm banana439monkey (or Banana for short) and, however inactive I am, I'm an experienced wikian. Outside of the wiki, I'm a maker who makes projects either out of curiosity or for the sake of the end user and with them in mind (after all, the end user is why I do what I do). The wiki's a welcoming place full of friendly and helpful Scratchers who are eager to see what edits you make! If you need help, you can always ask me, although given my activity, you'd be better off asking on the Community Portal or reading the help pages. Following the welcome tutorial is also a great way of finding your way round the wiki! Anyway, that concludes my grand speech and it's your time to do the unimaginable. Have fun and enjoy your stay!

Welcome!
Welcome Jedibrine!
Hello there Jedibrine! Welcome to the Wiki!
If you have any suggestions for the Wiki, just ask on the Community Portal!
When I first joined, I used this sheet to help me get started.
You can also take a look at random pages to get started.
If you need any help:
Couple Tips if I may:
Be sure to check your watchlist often. You automatically watch a page when you edit it. If you check your watchlist, you will know if someone replied to you.
Or you can check the Recent Changes.
Hope to See you SOON!

About files
Hey, I saw your reupload of File:Jedibrinelogo.png - it looks like you were trying to change the description? FYI, that's not how you do it. MediaWiki file uploading is kind of a mess, but the way it works is like this:
- When the file is first uploaded, the text you put in the "description" box is used as both the file page's contents and the file upload comment.
- After the file has already been uploaded, you change the file page by just editing it like a normal page.
- If you want to change the file itself, then you reupload. In this case, the "description" box is only used as the edit summary.
Does that make more sense?
kenny2scratch Talk Contribs Directory 09:25, 15 January 2019 (UTC)
- Yeah thanks! So should I delete the old image?

Don't Check Minor Edits on Talks
Especially when replying.
Minor edits just mean that the WikiMonitor won't notice te edits.
12944qwerty Talk Contribs Scratch 14:54, 17 January 2019 (UTC)
- You can use minor edits on talk pages! The main use for them is if you are editing a message you won't get the notice that you forgot to sign. + WM won't false trigger.
Jakel181 (talk | contribs) 15:35, 17 January 2019 (UTC)- Lol, saw your mistake (both). The second one is your summary, it said proposed instead of purpose.

Jedibrine (talk | contribs) 02:49, 18 January 2019 (UTC)- Making a lot of edits clogs up recent changes though. You should use "Show preview" as much as possible to make sure your edits look how you want.
jvvg (talk | contribs) 03:29, 18 January 2019 (UTC)- Ok I see, I'll use more of Show Preview. I'm having problems with designing the CSS and making a fixed navbar at the top so yeah :)
Jedibrine (talk | contribs) 03:38, 18 January 2019 (UTC)- To make a fixed navbar, it should have:
position:fixed;left:0;bottom:0
The left and bottom can be changed to meet your needs. - Just remember not to block any content.
12944qwerty Talk Contribs Scratch 03:43, 18 January 2019 (UTC)- Do I put that in <style=""> on the page or in the .css subpage? Will coding the subpage in CSS then using classes to edit things on my page work? Oh noh i just broke the Scratch Wiki xD Everything became black (the navbar and all the links and all of the text) and it actually looks cool

- And the link for your subpage.
Nice page! Just a Tip!
You're page blocks the content and has text that takes up unnecessary space. You can solve this by moving the boxes down (to the corners), and putting the text in:
<span title="TEXT HERE">CONTENT YOU WANT IT ON</span>
This will do the following:
HOVER. This way,, the text doesn't take up so much space.
12944qwerty Talk Contribs Scratch 22:09, 18 January 2019 (UTC)
- What content am I blocking? Is it just my zoom (90% on Chrome)? Sorry I don't understand, I'll edit it and you can make sure it's correct. Do I move the sidebars? How do I use span to change them?
Jedibrine (talk | contribs) 01:38, 19 January 2019 (UTC)- I meant that the mouse text should be on the sidebars, not on the botom bars. And you shouuld move the sidebars down to the bottom corners like mine and ken's.
- You are blocking the boxes on the left that says Tools, Navigation, and For Editors.

The hair is linked to the file. To get rid of this just add link=
right before the ]]
. This is what it should look like:
<span style="position:fixed; padding: 50px;" title="This hair will not go away"> [[File:Hairisonurscreen.png|25px|link=]]</span>

♥ A Little Welcome ♥
Hey there! Welcome to the Wiki, Jedibrine!
I hope you can make lots of helpful edits. Remember to check out the new page policies and especially the guidelines. The Wiki can be a little tricky in the beginning - I'm still making lots of mistakes. Mainly remember to include a summary of what you did with your edits and use a signature at the end of a reply/new topic on talk pages only. Don't worry; you'll get the hang of things eventually!

Help Me
Hi! I'm not sure if I'm actually using your talk page right, but I was just wondering if you could give me some tips for the wiki? Maybe like how to correctly use a talk page hehe or how you can add more to your signature? You could also just reply with a message on my talk page or my profile Thanks!
Lhaspel (talk | contribs)
- Hi! Just letting you now, new messages go at the bottom not the top. For a quicker way, use the New Topic button under the pencil drop down at the top.
- To start, just read this page as it has all the info you need. If you have any questions, ask away!
12944qwerty Talk Contribs Scratch 00:15, 14 March 2019 (UTC)- For talk pages, indent messages when responding to someone. To create a custom signature, you can create a template as a subpage of your userpage. You can add the template to the preferences tab, which makes the four tildas that custom signature. You can use my signature template if you want

About your signature
I see that your signature doesn't have a br in it, and to complicate matters you've been manually inserting brs in front of your sig. I have a solution! In your minisig (not the original sig!) add a <br/> at the start - this will appear in the substituted sig and not double-br existing sigs.
