Yes, I do happen to know Python. As for the bot, the problem with archiving the CP is that an admin still has to come and protect the page, so it doesn't save a lot of work. I do like the idea of notifying an EW/admin when there are >5 pages needed to be deleted though.

OK. But, for the archive, which is easier: Moving old threads to a new page and protecting that page or protecting a page from a notification on your talk page by a bot?

I even agree, this would be an error-prone bot. It would be very disable-able, and one feature could be turned off individually, and its disable page would actually make the bot disable all of its features.

Template

Do you like the idea of a collapsible "Templates" template?

I only think it's really important for pages which have over 4 or so templates, and that's pretty rare. We could however, do something like this.

It was to completely hide the templates, so you need to choose to see them. Because of that, Wikipedia's version won't work.
