Welcome!

Kenny2scratch logo.jpgWelcome to the Scratch Wiki! I look forward to the useful edits you'll make and hope you'll have fun here. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me on my talk page, where you can talk about the Wiki, get my help with templates, or even ask personal questions, and more! If you need quick help with wiki markup, take a look at Scratch Wiki:Cheatsheet. You might want to go to Category:Articles to Expand to find pages that need editing. I get my inspiration from Special:RecentChanges however, so looking at that helps too. See you around, FrostyRAhAz;

Welcome!

Welcome FrostyRAhAz!
Hello there FrostyRAhAz! Welcome to the Wiki!
If you have any suggestions for the Wiki, just ask on the Community Portal!
When I first joined, I used this sheet to help me get started.
You can also take a look at random pages to get started.

If you need any help:

Couple Tips if I may:
Be sure to check your watchlist often. You automatically watch a page when you edit it. If you check your watchlist, you will know if someone replied to you. Or you can check the Recent Changes.
Hope to See you SOON!

Welcome

Welcome to the Scratch Wiki!
Hi FrostyRAhAz and welcome to the Scratch Wiki! I'm banana439monkey (or Banana for short) and, however inactive I am, I'm an experienced wikian. Outside of the wiki, I'm a maker who makes projects either out of curiosity or for the sake of the end user and with them in mind (after all, the end user is why I do what I do). The wiki's a welcoming place full of friendly and helpful Scratchers who are eager to see what edits you make! If you need help, you can always ask me, although given my activity, you'd be better off asking on the Community Portal or reading the help pages. Following the welcome tutorial is also a great way of finding your way round the wiki! Anyway, that concludes my grand speech and it's your time to do the unimaginable. Have fun and enjoy your stay!

Please remember to sign your posts

Hello, I'm WikiMonitor, a bot that patrols the Recent Changes. This is just a friendly reminder that it appears you forgot to sign your post in revision 222633 of User talk:12944qwerty. Please fix this by adding four tildes (~~~~) at the end of your post to insert your signature and remember to sign your posts in the future. Signing your posts is important as it allows other Wikians to see who made a post. Thanks!
This message was sent by an automated bot run by jvvg. You can contact him on his talk page with any concerns.

♥ A Little Welcome ♥

Wiki icon.png Hey there! Welcome to the Wiki, FrostyRAhAz! Wiki icon.png

I hope you can make lots of helpful edits. Remember to check out the new page policies and especially the guidelines. The Wiki can be a little tricky in the beginning - I'm still making lots of mistakes. Mainly remember to include a summary of what you did with your edits and use a signature at the end of a reply/new topic on talk pages only. Don't worry; you'll get the hang of things eventually!

Wishing you lots of luck, EIephant_Lover

Welcome to the wiki FrostyRAhAz! I am MClovers, a cuber and a long time wikian. We hope you will make great edits. Make sure to check out the Welcome Tutorial and also the Cheatsheet. Got any questions? Go to the Community Portal. They helped me start off! Welcome to your new family. (If that makes sense XD)

FrostyRAhAz (talk | contribs) 00:58, 27 April 2019 (UTC)lol Hello and thanks!

When you don't know you have to put your sig at the end of a post and also have to indent it. XD
God286 (talk | contribs) 23:29, 28 May 2019 (UTC)

Hi!

Hello! I am god286. I like to be on the wiki, like you! Isn't the wiki a fun place?
God286 (talk | contribs) 21:22, 26 April 2019 (UTC)

FrostyRAhAz (talk | contribs) 00:57, 27 April 2019 (UTC) Hi! I know right?!
Originally, you didn't indent your text. Be sure to! And your signature goes after your text/message.
God286 (talk | contribs) 22:33, 27 April 2019 (UTC)

Signatures

Just a FYI, when posting a reply (or a post), we would post the four tildes (~~~~) after our post. Not before our post (like you’re currently doing).
12944qwerty Logo.png 12944qwerty  Talk  Contribs  Scratch  02:01, 27 April 2019 (UTC)

Okay.
FrostyRAhAz (talk | contribs) 02:07, 27 April 2019 (UTC)

Yay! Now onto indenting posts. For each reply, we would include and extra colon before the post (and each line of the post).
Message
:Post 1
::Post 2
:::Post 3
::::Post 4
:::::Post 5
::::::Post 6
{{outdent|6}}

:Post 8
As you can see in the example above, I included a template called outdent. This will help wrap the posts so that the indents don't go on forever.
Don't worry if you don't get the hang of it yet. It takes some time getting used to the wikitext formatting, although you can use S:WELCOME and S:CHEAT for more help in this field

Wait... you also helped me! Maybe one comment could help a few people...

French Wiki

Hi, I noticed that you were French and I remembered that there is a french wiki. You could join this wiki and help with the French scratchers there! But for more info, you can ask NilsTheBest (french wiki contributor) or kenny2scratch (bureaucrat - not french though, but he can explain much better than me in interwiki).
12944qwerty Logo.png 12944qwerty  Talk  Contribs  Scratch  02:15, 27 April 2019 (UTC)

Well I'm not exactly French but I am currently learning the language of French. I'm not sure if I should join NOW. I only know a few hundred words so it won't make sense really but thanks for the offer!
FrostyRAhAz (talk | contribs) 13:54, 28 April 2019 (UTC)

Ok! You need to be perfectly fluent in the language, so I'd agree.
Also, please remember to indent your posts. I gave an example in the previous message up there. If you still don't understand, look here
12944qwerty Logo.png 12944qwerty  Talk  Contribs  Scratch  16:03, 28 April 2019 (UTC)
Like this?

FrostyRAhAz (talk | contribs) 19:10, 28 April 2019 (UTC)
Yes, but instead of putting the four tildes on the next line, we put them on the same line. POST ~~~~ Otherwise, it causes a break like in a pre tag.
12944qwerty Logo.png 12944qwerty  Talk  Contribs  Scratch  13:04, 29 April 2019 (UTC)
(FYI there's actually not meant to be a space between the post and the tildas: POST~~~~.)

You don't need to be perfectly fluent, but you do have to be able to write in encyclopedic style, which I think is beyond an active learner's level, so I also agree that the French wiki is not the place for you as of yet - though once you're more comfortable you are welcome to join!
