A quick note about S:STYLE
Hi there! In S:STYLE, it does not say to make a blank line before and after headers, just before (see S:STYLE). bigpuppy talk | contribs 21:52, 28 June 2018 (UTC)
- Thanks for helping fix the style on pages, by the way!

I'd like to remind you of a certain style guideline we have
Yo there; I've seen you helpfully adding the correct templates to the relevant pages (for example, {{outdated}} to Scratch@MIT 2018 and {{unsigned}}) in the post above. I just want to let you know/remind you about this style guideline: Scratch Wiki:Style Guide#no-capitalized-templates
When using templates, keep the first letter lowercase unless there are other capital letters in the name. In the examples I gave above, you used {{Outdated}}
rather than {{outdated}}
and {{Unsigned}}
rather than {{unsigned}}
. Could you try to remember to keep it lowercase? Thanks. kenny2scratch Talk Contribs Directory 03:20, 17 August 2018 (UTC)
- Oops, I know that one as well XD. I've just not edited a wiki page in a while and it slipped my mind lol.

Collaboration Directory 6.0
Hi there! I was just on the collaboration forum looking for ways to advertise my new collab when I went on the Collaboration Directory and saw that there were a few applications that hadn't been answered. I was just wondering if you were aware of it? Redglitter (Talk ~ Contributions ~ 463 edits) 17:56, 25 November 2018 (UTC)

Your edit summary was unnecessarily rude
Insulting someone is not how you explain an undo. As to why I made the edit you undid (and I undid your undo): I was reverting it back to my first revert. Remember BRD? Banana's edit was the B, mine was the R, and everything after it should not have happened while the D was still in progress (and it continues to be, we've used Contact Us for a final opinion). I was reverting it back to the state it was in after the R. Please try to take in a little more of the situation before assuming the worst (which is another violation, this time of AGF). kenny2scratch Talk Contribs Directory 12:48, 30 December 2018 (UTC)
- I do know there was discussion, I read through #wiki_chat. I did know you sent a contact us email to check it, and as such you should have assumed it was not allowed until a reply came back. You accuse me of violating BRD, however adding the link was the Bold edit, and it was hidden by another Bureaucrat (R), yet you then decided to revert it again, rather than leaving it alone. While yes, you did discuss, you should have left it in the reverted state rather than undoing the revert. I was putting it back into the reverted state, which you falsely claim to be doing.
Drunken Sailor [ Talk | Contribs | More... ] 16:58, 30 December 2018 (UTC)
- The link being added was not a bold edit. That link was added three years ago and was not removed then. Removing the link in this year was the bold edit, not the revert. I, in fact, was the one bringing it back to the reverted state. And according to the rules, it remains in the reverted state until the discussion is over. The discussion is not yet over (the ST haven't responded yet) and therefore it remains in the current state.

Idea
Rename Getting Started with Scratch to Getting Started with Scratch 2.0 and create a new page called Getting Started with Scratch 3.0 because people will still use the offline 2.0 editor. Jakel181 (talk | contribs) 22:09, 8 January 2019 (UTC)
- I don't think that's necessary: only Scratchers who have been around for a while would still use the 2.0 editor. This article is to help new users, and new users would (most likely) not use 2.0, so really we only need to teach them about 3.0.
Drunken Sailor [ Talk | Contribs | More... ] 22:12, 8 January 2019 (UTC)
- I can disagree as many cs curriculums' still use Scratch 2.0 and teachers would use the offline editor.
Jakel181 (talk | contribs) 22:27, 8 January 2019 (UTC)
- If they're a CS teacher I would hope they know how to use Scratch 2.0 anyway. Also, the instructions are very similar anyway just with different images.
Drunken Sailor [ Talk | Contribs | More... ] 22:29, 8 January 2019 (UTC)
- lol I would to though that's not to case (I work with them) most of the time they are handed a book about scratch by someone saying, "The district now requires you to teach this thing"
Jakel181 (talk | contribs) 22:33, 8 January 2019 (UTC)
- Hm, it depends. You'd have to ask an admin; I have no authority lol. Personally, I think we should stick with just 3.0 but you can see what somebody else says.
