Welcome to the Scratch Wiki!
Hi Dmiretsky and welcome to the Scratch Wiki! I'm banana439monkey (or Banana for short) and, however inactive I am, I'm an experienced wikian. Outside of the wiki, I'm a maker who makes projects either out of curiosity or for the sake of the end user and with them in mind (after all, the end user is why I do what I do). The wiki's a welcoming place full of friendly and helpful Scratchers who are eager to see what edits you make! If you need help, you can always ask me, although given my activity, you'd be better off asking on the Community Portal or reading the help pages. Following the welcome tutorial is also a great way of finding your way round the wiki! Anyway, that concludes my grand speech and it's your time to do the unimaginable. Have fun and enjoy your stay!
honestly it's a shame i can't have a transparent background on images

Welcome!
Hello, Dmiretsky! My username is smileycreations15, and I'm a fellow wikian! You should get out there and start editing, but look at the Guidelines first.
Also, look at the Cheatsheet for some information on formatting. I hope you have a good time and make many contributions to the community and be awesome! If you have any questions, ask about them on my talk page!
Thanks to @AFNNetworkK12 for the message

Welcome to the Scratch Wiki, Dmiretsky!
Congrats on getting your account accepted! My name is TenType, and if you have any questions, feel free to ask on my talk page! I recommend you read the welcome tutorial and the cheatsheet to help you get started. For me, looking at the Recent Changes and random pages helps for inspiration. Also, if you are seeking for pages to edit, you might want to go to some articles in need of expanding. Enjoy your stay!
By the way, you can use the link style template to make your links a certain color! :) TenType (talk | contribs) 02:31, 21 August 2019 (UTC)

Your Letter to the Community
It was recently brought to my attention that you composed a letter, namely User:Dmiretsky/My_Projects, now moved to your "userspace." The mainspace of the Wiki is our shared product, and we have strict guidelines in place to keep it professional and without advertising for any one particular user (S:NOSP). In light of this, I inform you that your letter does not fit within our standards; therefore, I have moved it to your userspace, a location where it can stay without injury. I am writing this message to both inform you of this move and bring to your attention to our statement of core beliefs. My recommendation would be that read over this text, and in light of the issues you addressed within your writing, I would recommend this guide (How do I get my projects to become popular?). I look forward to edits which comply with best practices. Have a wonderful day! Makethebrainhappy (talk | contribs) 22:18, 21 August 2019 (UTC)
About your Letter
You can go to Show and Tell to advertise your projects, and the stickies there have guides on being recognized. Also, 1/4 of the community means millions of people, which is WAY too high an expectation. I understand how you feel, I spent 2 years in the dark, but one day I found the Welcoming Committee and on that day I got 8 views on a project. Now I own the third biggest shop on Scratch and my most-viewed project has over 5000 views and 50 loves. It's a slow proccess at first, but after one month it starts to accelerate. Good luck! About your creation of a mainspace page
Hi! I saw that you created the page "About My Letter" and noticed that you made a mainspace page that was for a discussion. I've moved the page to Makethebrainhappy's talk page, but when discussing about topics to a user, please create a new topic on their respective talk page instead of creating a whole other unnecessary page. You may find the "New topic" option below the "Edit" button useful for user talk pages. Thanks! TenType (talk | contribs) 01:44, 23 August 2019 (UTC)
