Images Not Showing Up

Whenever an image is updated, due to a glitch you always see the old image just expanded to the new image's size. Instead of uploading the image again, refresh the page or clear your cache to fix the problem on your side. :)

It's great that you are adding redirects! I'm not sure if you kept making mistakes but, it looks like you had like 30 edits in like 10 minutes. I just want you to know that's what it looked like on the Recent Changes. Make sure you are using the preview button if you were making mistakes!

Your Logo

What you do is you make a <ref> and </ref> tag, then put a <references/> tag. For example,

Well, I'll download PngOUT later :P I've been doing transparency by saving the file, setting the background I want to be transparent to a random color in paint, going here, making the image transparent, converting it to the matching file type, and then uploading it. Only takes a couple minutes :3

I moved it so that the image is no longer overlapping any text, and so that it was halfway between the text and the screen edge.

In case you're curious, what I did was instead of having your image aligned "left: 1144px", I did "right: 22 px" I used right so that the image position would be a bit more constant across different screen sizes.

Also, I viewed it in SWS. It doesn't work there, either. Oh wait, that's because of this:with ScratchWikiSkin it's a fixed width, with Vector it will resize to your screen. So you need a big screen in order for it to be smooth in SWS--which I lack.

They are actually from the same organization. WikiMedia Foundation is the group in charge of Wikipedia and its associated projects, and MediaWiki is the software they developed for those Wikis (and proceeded to open-source for others to use).

about the recent edits, I just want to say:

1. commenting out hurtful statements is a bad idea because of patrolling edits and people who look at differences on the Scratch wiki. to be honest, that is a really mean comment. I learned a quote a while ago, and that is "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it at all.", especially on the internet.
2. this whole talk page discussion isn't all a hate speech, so the whole message doesn't get deleted. I understand that you may be mad, but talking in bold and harshly isn't the way to go, either. saying "thats fake and its really obv." in your summary does not help the situation at all.
3. replying to the comment is not a sensible idea. Even if it is a comment, it is seen in the edit source. Replying makes the other party even more mad.

I believe we have the capability to be a well-run wiki, if we keep that in our mindset...

┌────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────┘ when I come across these situations, one axiom pops into my mind - "is what I am about to post going to help, harm or do nothing to the current discussion?" here is where three options are present, and I will explain them further.

1. If your argument(s) harm the discussion, why add it? A harmful argument does not attempt to solve the situation. If the point is to shame people, then this is where one has gone wrong. A situation arises, and needs to be fixed in an orderly fashion. No order, no solving (or a solution is made that is really bad). Also, will harming the solution let us reach a goal? No, and it will never be. In fact, harming it will just cause the discussion to either digress or be hindered.
2. If a post will do neither harm/good to a discussion, don't post it. There is no need for it. This may cause some digression or serve as a hindrance as well. Both are detrimental to a situation trying to be solved. This is because the solution (or solution train of thought, as I like to say it) is lost. Also, we don't want to make another problem arise.
3. If your posts help the discussion, add it. Be aware, good discussions cannot be bias or written with hatred. It should be written in a neutral point of view, not addressing any party.

We have all heard of the banal cliché "Everyone makes mistakes". The hardest part is the solving process, and since there are copious/a surfeit of arguments on the wiki recently, we should keep this in mind and that arguments that do not help an argument in any shape or form is not welcome.

Yeah, KrIsMa summed up something that everyone needs to keep in mind when posting on discussions. In this specific case, I have censored the offending revisions, and hopefully that will be all I need to do. Krett, please don't talk about banning people, even as a joke. It sounds a lot like a threat (even though I know you're just trying to make your point), and could easily be interpreted as one. That would just create more drama and exacerbate the situation. As for the edits, please stop edit warring over this. As KrIsMa said above, only that one message was disrespectful, so only that message should be removed, not the whole section. If there are any other messages you deem offensive, please tell one of us (KrIsMa or me) and we will decide what is the appropriate course of action. Finally, I am aware that my censoring of the revision has created a precedent. Just for future notice, I intend to follow that precedent, and hope all other admins will too. Any messages deemed disrespectful will not only be removed but the revision will also be suppressed. Thank you for reading, and I'm sorry I had to make the message so long.

Create an image and overlay it since this Wiki uses px for padding, margin, width, and height it can be easy to justufy the image relative to the article content box. Plus, who really cares anyways, it would only work for that one article and can be edited out.
