Some clarifications about creating pages...

1. Talk pages: Talk pages are for discussing the related article. They are not for discussing the topic itself (we have the forums for that). See Help:Talk Page for more information.

2. New pages: Please only create new pages for topics that don't already exist, and when you do create a new page, please put content on it. This content needs to be documentation or explanation of the idea that the page is about.

Please do not be discouraged by this. The Wiki system is kind of complicated and it takes a while to learn the ropes. However, we do value contributions from all of our editors, and I look forward to seeing what else you contribute.

The Wiki isn't the place to do that, though. The Wiki is really just a website to document Scratch. If you want to do something like that, there are already forum topics about it.

What the file namespace is

Please only create file pages when there's actually a file of that name. The pages in that namespace are just description pages for the associated files.

I already have a copy of the committee article in my sandbox....it would probably be better to have all edits in a centralized location... If you could edit the one on my sandbox as it's the one people already know about that would probably work better. Thanks!
