Please do not "name and shame"
Hi, I had to delete your article List of Fame Preventions for two reasons. 1. It's not a particularly notable topic to include in the first place, and definitely not worthy of its own page. 2. More importantly, you were naming specific users and calling them out for bad behavior. This goes against the Community Guidelines and is not allowed on Scratch. If you think a user is doing something that they should not be, please report relevant content, and use the Contact Us page to contact the Scratch Team if there is something that can't be attached to an individual comment/project/forum post/etc. or there is otherwise a larger pattern. Thank you! jvvg (talk | contribs) 01:51, 4 April 2021 (UTC)
Please stop misusing the "redirect" template
Hi CodeLearnerSai,
In a few edits you've made recently, you have added {{redirect}} to the top of an article, but the first argument is the same name as the article (for example, in this edit, you used {{redirect|<Argument>}} on the Argument article itself). Please only use the {{redirect}} template if something actually redirects there, not to distinguish it from something else with a similar name. In that case, {{about}} or {{confused}} is the appropriate template to use. Thank you! jvvg (talk | contribs) 01:06, 5 April 2021 (UTC)
- Also, the {{other version}} template exists specifically for the case when we have multiple articles for the same thing in different versions of Scratch. Please do not replace {{other version}} with {{about}} when the purpose is to clarify which version the article refers to.
jvvg (talk | contribs) 01:31, 9 April 2021 (UTC)
- Also, {{obsolete feature}} is the appropriate template for features in older versions that have been superseded, do not use {{about}} for that.

Please do not create articles about Scratchers, projects, studios, etc.
Hi,
I had to delete an article you created because it was about a Scratcher. Wiki policy explicitly prohibits creating articles about user-generated content (with a few exceptions). Please do not create any such articles in the future.
Thank you! jvvg (talk | contribs) 20:59, 8 April 2021 (UTC)
Please do not remove others' messages
Hi,
I recently undid your edit where you removed talk page messages with the message "I rejected everything". Per the userspace policy you are only allowed to remove others' talk page messages from your own talk page if they are obviously violating the Community Guidelines, they are bot messages, or you are moving them to an archive. While some of the messages you deleted were bot messages, you also deleted several human messages (all left by me), and none of them violated the Community Guidelines.
Also, please take these talk page messages seriously. You can't "reject" them, as I am informing you of Wiki policies and how they apply to various edits you're making.
Please respond to this message indicating you read it. Thank you. jvvg (talk | contribs) 01:26, 9 April 2021 (UTC)

Please do not create spam pages
Hi,
I had to delete your page [removed by myself upon further reading] since the page seemed to be a spam article. It linked to a bunch of userpages (that had no obvious connection to the title) and an April Fools' page. Please respond to this message indicating you read it. You have continued editing and have not responded to my previous message. If you continue editing without confirming reading this message, you risk having your account blocked. jvvg (talk | contribs) 21:42, 10 April 2021 (UTC)
- Given the content you put on your userpage, the page was intended to attack another user. Per the message below this one, that is not acceptable.

Do not attack other Scratchers
I have already notified you earlier not to "name and shame" as that is against the Scratch Community Guidelines, and I just undid an edit to your userpage where you continued to do so. While userpages are not subject to Wiki guidelines in relation to content, they are still subject to Scratch Community Guidelines. Please follow these talk page messages and follow Wiki rules (which include the Community Guidelines for all pages, including userpages and April Fools pages). This is your final warning. jvvg (talk | contribs) 21:46, 10 April 2021 (UTC)

About 1
Hi,
Three times now, you have edited the 1 article to redirect to Scratch 1.0 and Scratch 1.x and either I or someone else has reverted it. The reason I reverted it (and presumably the reason TenType reverted it as well) is that "1" could refer to any of the Scratch 1.x versions (Scratch 1.0, Scratch 1.1, and so on).
We encourage you to be bold, we do have a "Bold, Revert, Discuss" policy that basically means if you make an edit and it is reverted (provided some justification is given for the revert), discuss the edit in the relevant location (in this case, it would be on the talk page) before putting it back. Otherwise, this risks creating what's called an "edit war," where people keep reverting each other. In this case, if you had a reason Scratch 1.0 would be a better redirect target than Scratch 1.x, you could have explained it there so everyone else could understand the motivation behind your edit. jvvg (talk | contribs) 01:09, 14 May 2021 (UTC)

Hi,
I deleted the userpage that you created for Will_Wam, as per the userspace policy you are not allowed to edit (or create) other users' userpages without permission. Please make sure to follow the userspace policy going forwards and not edit or create others' userpages without their permission. jvvg (talk | contribs) 02:16, 7 June 2021 (UTC)

Administrator and Bureaucrat Noticeboards
Hi there! Thanks for your contributions to the wiki. I just wanted to let you know that I deleted Scratch Wiki:Bureaucrat Noticeboard and Scratch Wiki:Administrator Noticeboard because we already have facilities for requests for admin/bureaucrat action (namely S:CPSYS and the report feature for sensitive requests). That said, if you still think there is a good use for these pages, please discuss them on the CP before creating them, as they involve a fairly significant change to our current process. Thank you for understanding. bigpuppy talk ▪︎ contribs 22:52, 29 July 2021 (UTC)
Protecting your userpage
Hi there!
I saw the {{protect}} template you added to your userpage. New Wikians are already prevented from editing userpages that don't have {{open userpage}} on them, so protecting your userpage for Wikians and up would be redundant. Because of this, I will refrain from protecting your userpage. Thanks for your contributions to the wiki! bigpuppy talk ▪︎ contribs 16:20, 15 August 2021 (UTC)
- As per this post and Scratch Wiki:Userspace#Others' userspace, I have added

Please do not unnecessarily try to move pages
Hi,
It appears you have triggered our filters a number of times in trying to unnecessarily move pages. A few examples include:
- Trying to move Studio to User:D
- Trying to move Template:Delete to Talk:Delete
- Trying to move Category:1.4 Block Palettes to Help:1.4 Block Palettes
- Trying to move User:Jvvg to Template:Jvvg
- Trying to move Scratch Wiki:April Fools/Set Pen Color to () (color input block) to Special talk:April Fools/Set Pen Color to () (color input block)
Please do not abuse page moving and only move pages when there is a legitimate reason to do so. Thanks! jvvg (talk | contribs) 02:40, 23 August 2021 (UTC)

Please do not create templates without community input
Hi,
I recently deleted your template Scratch Team Image because it was created without any community consensus or immediate use case. I have also deleted a few other templates you have created in the past, such as Cloud Data Image. In general, please do not create templates without getting community consensus first. For example, even bigpuppy, an administrator, got community consensus before creating the {{resolved}} and {{unresolved}} templates.
Note that this does not apply to pages. However, for pages still please do consider carefully if they fit the Wiki Guidelines and serve a useful purpose, and ask on the Community Portal if you are unsure. jvvg (talk | contribs) 02:55, 24 August 2021 (UTC)

Please stop adding inappropriate things to the page “Creating an Account”
Hi,
Three times now you have added inappropriate things to the list of disallowed usernames on Creating an Account - they have all been undone. Please make sure that you look things up before just adding them. I am not an admin, but I think people have been blocked for this before.
EW+'s: Please let me know if I shouldn't be doing this. When I typed this I got the feeling that I may be in over my head, or that I think I'm an admin or something. han614698 talk • contribs • profile 21:41, 8 November 2022 (UTC)
- You're perfectly at liberty to make warnings like this yourself, as long as you don't impersonate admins or indicate that you are one (which would violate SCGs).
- CodeLearnerSai: Unlike Wikipedia, we do not get to include inappropriate/offensive terms on this wiki for the sake of documentation. If you were doing this on Scratch you'd be banned by now - please don't give us a reason to do the same.

Please read the discussion regarding disallowed usernames
Hi,
There is an ongoing discussion regarding the list of disallowed username terms and whether or not that section is needed in the article at all. Please take a look at that section (and feel free to add your own thoughts if you wish), as you seem to be the main person adding items to that section lately. jvvg (talk | contribs) 02:56, 17 November 2022 (UTC)
Disallowed Usernames
Hello CodeLearnerSai,
I wanted to ask why you removed what i added from the creating a account page https://en.scratch-wiki.info/w/index.php?title=Creating_an_Account&curid=1157&diff=317468&oldid=317390. I added the word "follow" which isnt allowed because too many people were creating accounts called "free follow" or something but you replaced it with freddy. Can i please know why? SpaghettiAG852097- (talk | contribs) 13:25, 17 November 2022 (UTC)
- I checked 'follow' and it was allowed.

Disallowed Username
Hello CodeLearnerSai,
I noticed your edit on the page "Creating an Account" https://en.scratch-wiki.info/wiki/Creating_an_Account you added a whitelist of disallowed usernames. There used to be a disallowed username section until it got removed by jvvg. Here, if you scroll down https://en.scratch-wiki.info/wiki/Talk:Creating_an_Account we all agreed that the whitelist should be removed so we removed it and added what type of usernames arent allowed. Your edit has been undoed. Also, you said that "pakistan" and "butter" are disallowed but i checked and they actually are allowed. SpaghettiAG852097- (talk | contribs) 22:50, 28 November 2022 (UTC)
- Perhaps, you misunderstood the sentence before the list.
CodeLearnerSai (talk | contribs) 00:39, 1 December 2022 (UTC)
- Please read the talk page where we had a discussion about removing the specific list of disallowed usernames (and by extension, whitelisted items that would otherwise be false positives). The consensus reached is that specific examples are unnecessary and should not be included. I notified you of this discussion earlier on your talk page and invited you to give your thoughts, and you did not respond to it or express any disapproval.

Your disallowed username list
I had to remove an item from your disallowed username list, as it referenced an object that is strongly inappropriate for Scratch and this Wiki and would break the Community Guidelines The revisions mentioning them have been hidden.
Please try not to mention or reference very inappropriate concepts on this wiki, as they will be hidden from pages they are added to. Jammum (💬 Talk - ✍️ Contribs - 🐱 Scratch) 08:58, 25 December 2022 (UTC)
- I've now deleted the page entirely. We were initially hesitantly okay with its existence, but the items you've included in it make it clear that it's just far too risky to deliberately list disallowed strings.
