Welcome
Welcome to Scratch Wiki!
We hope you will contribute much and well.
You will probably want to read the help pages.
Again, welcome and have fun! jvvg (talk | contribs) 01:52, 26 July 2013 (UTC)
- I'd like to add on a bit. Welcome! I wish you lots of good editing here, and lots of opportunities as well. Also, if you ever need some help, just ask jvvg, me, or some other wikian on their talk pages. No doubt you'll want to also dive right into the coding side of the wiki, so here's my sandbox if you'd like to look at a few examples: My Sandbox
- Again, welcome to the wiki!

Thanks guys, and i am already having fun on here.
CAA14 (talk | contribs) 15:50, 26 July 2013 (UTC)
- Well that's good to hear, though don't forget to indent your comments with ":".
ErnieParke (talk | contribs) 16:23, 26 July 2013 (UTC)
- Okay.
CAA14 (talk | contribs) 16:39, 26 July 2013 (UTC)
- It's one more indent per comment. ;)
- Also, about the Help (blocks) page, that page was for 1.4, not 2.0. Most features that got changed in 2.0 got their own new page, while the 1.4 page got stored for historical perspective. Adding news about 2.0 to the 1.4 portion ruins that, so I'd recommend you watch out for articles like these.

- Okay.
Writing Conventions
I noticed in your new article Advanced Clone usage you used a lot of first person. Here on the wiki, you're supposed to use third person, so "I" and "we" are practically banned. The only time you're allowed to use anything but third-person is in tutorials, where you can use a second-person point of view, but only sparsely. You'll need to change the point of view in your article, though you are doing a good job. ErnieParke (talk | contribs) 17:55, 26 July 2013 (UTC)
- Oh.... Wow, i am sorry, that's the natural way i type such things... Anyway, it will be corrected.
CAA14 (talk | contribs) 18:06, 26 July 2013 (UTC)
- It's okay as long as things get fixed in the end. Don't forget that you are new and won't know everything right away.

- Well, i just don't want to get kicked out. Anyway, thanks, and it won't happen again.
CAA14 (talk | contribs) 18:28, 26 July 2013 (UTC)
- Don't worry, we don't kick people off the wiki for such minor offenses. :)
- PS: You don't have to put the 4 tildes on a new line.
Scimonster (talk | contribs) 19:48, 27 July 2013 (UTC)
- Oh, that's good. (whew)
- And, huh? Isn't that how you sign?
CAA14 (talk | contribs) 19:00, 29 July 2013 (UTC)
- No, you sign by putting the four tildes at the end of your post, not on a new line. It's kind of like the punctuation of a sentence. You don't put a period on the next line, do you?

Nice header
עליכם שלום :) Scimonster (talk | contribs) 20:11, 27 July 2013 (UTC)
The custom styled talk page looks very cool. Scimonster (talk | contribs) 08:07, 30 July 2013 (UTC)
Signature
Just to point out, you forgot your signature on Bsteward's user talk. ErnieParke (talk | contribs) 18:06, 29 July 2013 (UTC)
- Aw, seriously? I am sorry, i will correct that now. Thanks.
CAA14 (talk | contribs) 18:26, 29 July 2013 (UTC)
You're welcome. ;) ErnieParke (talk | contribs) 00:24, 30 July 2013 (UTC)
The templates you have been creating
Can I move them into pages in your userspace domain? Usually, we don't have templates meant only for user pages, and certainly not just for a single user. Mathfreak231 (talk | contribs) 21:43, 29 July 2013 (UTC)
- Sure you can, as long as you don't mess them up. ;)
- I don't care where they're stored, just so that i have access to them. ;)
- Scimonster, a moderator, has his own as well, so...
CAA14 (talk | contribs) 21:46, 29 July 2013 (UTC)
- Okay, but you'll have to fix the links once I move them. ;)
Mathfreak231 (talk | contribs) 21:50, 29 July 2013 (UTC)
- What will the links be? Will i still be able use them?
CAA14 (talk | contribs) 21:51, 29 July 2013 (UTC)
- Yep. They're subpages of your user page. ;) And about the footer, I'm afraid if people add topics using the "Add topic" thingy, your footer won't stay at the bottom. :|
Mathfreak231 (talk | contribs) 21:53, 29 July 2013 (UTC)
- Um.... Could you type out an example of the type of link i need to use? I can't get it to work. D:
CAA14 (talk | contribs) 21:54, 29 July 2013 (UTC)
- I fixed them for you. Templates are the default namespace for transclusion (the thing with the double curly braces). Just use
{{User:CAA14/Header}}
,{{User:CAA14/Footer}}
, and{{User:CAA14/TOC}}

User Page Base
I noticed that the last edited by CAA14 date says 30 of 07. You know instead of {{CURRENTMONTH}} you can put {{CURRENTMONTHNAME}} and get September. Curiouscrab (talk | contribs) 01:19, 30 July 2013 (UTC)
Now I see it's actually transcluded from User:CAA14/Footer. Curiouscrab (talk | contribs) 01:22, 30 July 2013 (UTC)
Text Font
The text font you have your talk page setting everything to kind of messes up things for whenever someone indents as they should. Is there another way you could personalize the text without making it harder to understand conversations? Curiouscrab (talk | contribs) 01:24, 30 July 2013 (UTC)
- I can sure try. First i need to slightly update something.
- Hopefully i can fix it tonight, but i have to go now.
- Thanks. :)
- Oh, and i am not looking for the current month, only the one that the page was edited in.
CAA14 (talk | contribs) 01:26, 30 July 2013 (UTC)
- Woops. I gave you the wrong code. Never mind.

Scratch Wiki has Template:NUMBEROFVIEWS views and 2,155 articles. This page was last edited by Kenny2scratch on 16 of 06, 2018.
Nonexistent Template
I saw that on at the bottom of all your userpages, you included Template:NUBEROFVIEWS. That template no longer exists. In Special:WantedTemplates, that template is the top result, with 7 pages (including your main userpage and talk page) having it. Can you please remove it? CrazyBoy826 (talk | contribs) 01:13, 16 June 2018 (UTC)
- Since it's in userspace, it's up to them whether they remove it or not. However, that actually looks like a misspelling of the former
{{NUMBEROFVIEWS}}
magic word. It would still best be removed, though, since neither the misspelling nor the correctly-spelled words exist anymore.kenny2scratch Talk Contribs Directory 05:25, 16 June 2018 (UTC)
