Welcome to the Scratch Wiki!
Hi Adzboy and welcome to the Scratch Wiki! I'm banana439monkey (or Banana for short) and, however inactive I am, I'm an experienced wikian. Outside of the wiki, I'm a maker who makes projects either out of curiosity or for the sake of the end user and with them in mind (after all, the end user is why I do what I do). The wiki's a welcoming place full of friendly and helpful Scratchers who are eager to see what edits you make! If you need help, you can always ask me, although given my activity, you'd be better off asking on the Community Portal or reading the help pages. “In Progress” Template

Hello! You may wish to add the date which the "in progress" template was placed on your userpage. That way, the word (Date?) won't appear at the end. Here's how to do it: {{In Progress|User|date={{subst:date}}}} You can see my new, updated userpage as an example of what it looks like, too.

Hello! I have an uncompressed image called GivingOutCookies.jpeg. Could you fix that for me? You're the best!

I should probably tell you that I'm going to be doing this quite a bit, since I only became active more recently, and I didn't have many images to begin with. I'm also trying to make part of my userspace more funny. You should see it. :P

Keep telling them to read what to put in the request notes and show them the example request notes. Also, Wiki bans are very rare and you probably wouldn't get one for that. "Ban me for no reason". Well if you were banned then there would be a reason wouldn't there.

But the Example Request Notes are outdated from the Flawed Article. This is the main problem. Also, I don't want to be report innocent comments regarding Scratch Wiki because it's rude, and problems regarding that isn't Scratch Team's privilege. It's the Admins' privilege.

The point of the request notes is that they're different so you don't copy them. You just see how they should be set out. Also, even though they aren't active here anymore most Scratch Team members are Scratch Wiki admins and bureaucrats.

How do you format your Wiki user page?

So, if you want your PFP at the top you will have to upload it as a file (Categorise it under users' logos) and then use this markup to have it how I have it: [[File:(Your user icon's filename)|270x270px|centre]] If you need help uploading the file or you want me to do it then feel free to ask.

To have the contents part centred you can just use this simple piece of Wiki markup: <center>__TOC__</center>

I tried to change the category of a image I uploaded for my userpage, but the change is not registered.

I wrote the category as "User's Logos" but realised it was "Users' Logos so I edited it, but even after doing a hard refresh, the change isn't registered. May you help me?

It looks fine to me, it is under "Users' Logos". I think you maybe looking at the writing next to the image which is what you uploaded it with. If you look at the bottom of the page and in the editor you will see it is correct.

If you're using the standard skin there is a pencil icon in the top corner, click on that then press the "New Topic" button. Then enter your message and click "Save changes". As to what else you can do here use S:HELP to pick up some skills and try them out in the Scratch Wiki sandbox or make your own sandbox here. You can then use the random page function to search for pages or just use the search bar. You could also check Recent Changes for more pages or discussions to look at and interact with. Once you've found a page look through it and see if you can improve it, add anything on or fix any errors or grammar mistakes. You can also check the community portal to find other jobs that may need attention or discuss changes to the Wiki. Lastly, you can get banned here but it won't affect your Scratch account. If your Scratch account is banned then it doesn't necessarily mean you'll get banned here. Just don't vandalise or spam or break any community guidelines and you should be fine. Hope that helps!

Restore my page

I created a page titles "No scratch november" to inform users that saying "No scratch november" will get you muted and the reason for it. It was not a joke page

Pages as specific as that are not really useful, there are already pages which provide a more general approach. In addition, pages that are about what can or can't get you muted would often contain harmful language, in this particular case it is not really appropriate. I encourage you to have a think and read the Wiki guidelines before creating pages in future, check with admins if you are unsure. (Also, please remember to sign your posts using ~~~~)

Hi! Firstly, please remember to sign your posts. Secondly, you can request the deletion of a page by adding {{delete|Deletion reason here|date=April 2023}}. You will have to wait for an admin to delete it though. I have added the deletion template so you will not need to do anything this time but make sure to keep that all in mind for next time.

The reason I didn't reply is because you keep moving topics around. I couldn't find it. You don't need to archive your talk page so often, I've been active on this Wiki for over a year and I have never come to a point where I need to archive my talk page.

It's not been three months? Three months from 10/08/23 is 10/11/23, it was 02/11/23 when you removed me. I've undone your edit for both myself and 2tables as it applies to them as well. Thanks for looking out though.

Yeah, I know that. I usually remove inactive users at the start of each month, and I usually don't check the day of the last edit but check the only the month. If the date is after the 15th I round it up to the next month, but if it is before 15 I round it down to the beginning of the month, if that makes sense. From now on, I will try to use the exact date to make it more accurate. Thank you for letting me know!
