I recommend you remove NoBots from your talk page

I idly came here to see what messages you had, and noticed something...

I suggest you remove {{NoBots}} from your talk page - that template is meant for when a bot is doing something wrong to one particular page. If you're annoyed at getting WikiMonitor messages, there's a simple way to remedy that - start obeying them! Signing your posts is important, and so is categorizing pages, and so is using "show preview".

If you want help remembering to sign your posts, you should try out my userscript - it warns you if you try to save a talk page edit without signing your post.

"show preview" is an important button - on the forums, you can post once and edit millions of times, and all it'll do is show when it was last edited... but on the wiki, if you save, then edit and save again, then edit and save again, there'll be three separate copies of the same page stored on the server.

Categorizing pages is the thing I forget the most often - but that doesn't mean I shouldn't do it. Categorizing pages lets people browse the wiki more easily, instead of having to rely on Special:Random.

P.S. The reason I could see that category is because I have hidden categories unhidden in my preferences.

The point of the bot archive is that you move bot messages into it after you've read them. If you have {{NoBots}} on your talk, that means bots can't leave messages there, meaning you can't read them.

Could you make a couple of fixes to your userpage?

Could you do the following:

1. Replace {{inaccurate}} with {{inaccurate|cat=no}}. This removes your userpage from Category:Inaccurate Articles.
2. Replace <scratchsig>Kenny2scratch</scratchsig> with {{User:Kenny2scratch/sig}}. That is my actual signature - I haven't used ScratchSig in 9 months...

Don't think I didn't see that message.

For the second one, sure, you don't have to... but for the first, please do. Category:Inaccurate Articles is meant for inaccurate articles, not userpages.

And one more thing - "I don't have to" isn't really acceptable. You can reply with a message saying why you think it wouldn't do any harm to not do it - but simply saying "I don't have to" is not enough.

I am willing to listen to an argument as to why you feel like it would be better not to do it. If you have such an argument, go ahead and say it.

Finally, if you were wondering - the reason I'm not doing it myself is because editing other users' userpages is strictly forbidden. That's why I'm asking you.

So could you please make the change(s)? Thanks.

I noticed you did "{{CURRENTMONTHNAME}} {{CURRENTDAY}}th/rd/nd/st" at the top of your talk page... there's no need to do that. Instead, you can use "{{CURRENTMONTHNAME}} {{CURRENTDAY}}{{th|{{CURRENTDAY}}}}", which produces November 9^th.

Why your file didn't have the right category

Hi! I saw you uploaded File:Balloon Flight.png, and you tried to get the category right. Well, uh, you had a little problem - since (I assume) you were using a mobile device, the apostrophe you added in the category name was not a normal apostrophe: ' but a unicode apostrophe! ’ so the category could not have been right no matter what you did unless you somehow inserted a normal apostrophe. Just letting you know!

Sorry, I didn’t realise my iPad uses Unicode apostrophe. I don’t think I can change that though, so that error might happen a lot.

Please don't use your account age as a bargaining chip

Hi, Terrariadude ;)

Normally, the unpleasant social situation you see sometimes is someone saying they should get their way simply because they've existed longer. You seem to be doing the exact inverse. I have seen you try to get your way and/or get out of trouble by mentioning that you're "new" at least two times - once on the recent SWAF/AFD edit dispute resolution, and once on your own talk page, at the top.

First off, I don't think you count as "new" anymore. You're a full Wikian now (i.e. your account is over a month old and has over 50 edits). You're also much older than some other New Wikians.

Second, saying things like "I will get the last laugh. I am only new and it is unfair to me." is totally unacceptable, especially when you use it to get your own way, like you were in the SWAF/AFD situation. You're threatening people with reports, which is

• completely against Community Guidelines, and
• just an all-and-around bad thing to do, for lack of a better description.

I'd like you to remove the part in your talk page saying you're new and it's "unfair" to you. In the future, as well, please don't emotionally threaten people by saying you're new, especially since that's now a lie.

I hope you don't take another wikibreak just because of this, though. I'm only posting this message because I got really angry when I saw how you tried to make jvvg use your version in the SWAF/AFD dispute. You have made other hilarious AF edits, and your mainspace edits are also pretty good. Wiki on!

I was meaning to remove it a few days after becoming a wikian, but someone sent me a message AND a whole bunch of errors happened so I just waited a few days, but I forgot. Also, I did not make him, I was just not happy that he did not use my version, especially at a time where my school is terrible and not doing much.

I’m not taking a wiki break, but I am close to. Please, you saw the message at the top, even though it doesn’t exist anymore, a new rule in my userpage does, and you have just broken it, plus that old rule without consequences.

Please make your custom signature smaller

Additionally, the profile picture in your signature breaks guidelines too - the image must be 18x18 or 20x20, and yours is blatantly not. Your signature is also missing a leading linebreak - it should start on the next line, but not shunt what comes after it onto another line.
