Proper use of the Report function
Hi,
I just want to provide a reminder on when you should and shouldn't report revisions. In general you should only report revisions when they contain something that needs to be dealt with by an admin that isn't appropriate to bring up publicly (for example, edit warring, disrespectful messages, discussing bans, inappropriate content, etc.) It shouldn't be used for stuff that could be done with a template (if a page should be deleted for reasons other than just being inappropriate, simply put {{delete}} on it for example). Reports also should not be used for complaining about WikiMonitor notifications. In your specific case, WikiMonitor notified you because the timestamp was not put in the proper form. You need to either set your signature in Special:Preferences and then sign posts with four tildes (~~~~) or put it in manually and add the timestamp with five tildes (~~~~~). jvvg (talk | contribs) 16:54, 24 March 2025 (UTC)

Uploading images
Hello,
I saw your recent uploads of File:'Follow Discussion' button.jpg.jpg and File:'Unfollow a discussion' button .jpg. However, these files happen to be duplicates of files that already exist: File:Follow Button Forums.png and File:Unfollow Discussion.PNG; your files will be deleted to help reduce clutter. Please make sure you check for exisitng files next time and update those files, not create new ones.
I also noticed the article you created using these files. I'm not sure if following/unfollowing forum topics needs its own page, especially considering that there already is a subsection in Discussion Forums#Following Topics about this. What are your thoughts?

Minor differences do not constitute a duplicate
Hello,
I would like to notify you that the file File:Create-Scratch101 logo.png is not a duplicate. Here is a side-by-side comparison with File:Create-Scratch101 logo notext.png for proof.

Also, your deletion reason states the file is unused. Even though it wasn't used when it was uploaded, it is now used (see here). In the future, please compare files very carefully before labeling them as a duplicate. If you still believe the file should be deleted, please discuss it on the file's talk page and notify the uploader.
Thank you. A-MARIO-PLAYER (talk | contribs) 10:00, 7 April 2025 (UTC) Last edited 10:02, 7 April 2025 (UTC)
- @A-MARIO-PLAYER already compared but it wasn't been used by the user. I think it's duplicate. Let's resolve by asking to @jvvg.

- @-StayBoy- I'm not sure why your deletion reason states "it wasn't being used". They're both clearly being used now and serve different purposes.

- @-StayBoy- They are two separate images that are both being used in different places. There is no need to delete them, so this is

Your signature
Hello! Your custom sig looks great! However, there is an issue that some tags aren't closed and it's causing the page to break. Please close them ASAP. See the above message. Also, in order to use a custom sig, you need to create a minisig and add that to your Preferences. See S:GOODSIG for information/help. Right now, if you type ~~~~
, your custom sig will not appear. If you set your minisig correctly, when you type the 4 tildes, your custom sig and timestamp should appear automatically.
Let me know if you have any issues/questions. Thanks! KangaCoder ( talk • contribs • scratch ) 23:13, 29 April 2025 (UTC)

- Thank you for fixing the broken tags. However, your signature is still not set. Please read S:GOODSIG. You need to create a minisig page in your userspace that redirects to your signature (for example, mine is User:KangaCoder/Minisig). Then, go to Special:Preferences and transclude that minisig page into the custom sig section.
- If you do it correctly, when you type
~~~~
on a talk page, your custom sig and timestamp should appear. Right now, when I look at the source code, it's clear that you are manually adding in the timestamp. - Let me know if you have any issues.
- Also a note that you aren't even using the right timestamp. You seem to be using UTC+3 instead of UTC. UTC is a timezone used by the Wiki, not just 3 random letters at the end of the timestamp. E.g. if it is 20:00 in your timezone, it would probably be 17:00 on the Wiki.
Your welcome message
Hi there, thanks for welcoming new users! In your welcome template, I see that you've credited leahcimto and myself in your template. Could you please remove the link to the user pages, as whenever you post on a talk page, I receive a notification that a message has been left for me? You can leave the credit there if you want, just not including the user link. Thanks! KangaCoder ( talk • contribs • scratch ) 01:56, 17 May 2025 (UTC)
