Welcome! I'm Chris, or more commonly known as Lucario621. Some of my hobbies on Scratch include helping others, making interesting projects, and 'foruming'. I'm an administrator on the Scratch Wiki, and a Community Moderator on the Scratch Website, so if you need help, feel free to let me know!
I have been Scratching since Summer 2007, when Scratch started - so I am very experienced, and know a lot about the history of scratch, and what it was like before. I make many different projects, from simulations, to games, to animations! I've also participated in many different events, such as all of the Scratch Days @ MIT, the Scratch Meetup @ MIT, many Moderator elections on the Scratch Forums, and multiple Scratch Design Studios! In April 2012, I became a Community Moderator.
...on the Wiki
I originally joined the Scratch Programming Wiki (at scratch.wikia.com) on July 20, 2009. It was very inactive, with very few editors. However later in February 2010, when I contacted Juiceybox (a previous administrator), I said that I wanted to contribute more, so she made me admin and bureaucrat. Thus, I started editing a lot, and tried to get many people to join it. On March 17, 2010, I made my 500 edits milestone, and on April 11, 2010, I made my 1000 edits milestone. I asked andresmh what he thought about the wiki, and the possibility of advertising it on the front page, and he said the main problem was that there were ads. Thus, we created a new wiki with imported content, connected to the Scratch Website, which you are looking at right now. I hope to continue to contribute to this wiki as long as I can, and make it as helpful as possible.
...in Real Life
My given name is Chris. I was born in Massachusetts, home to MIT, where Scratch was created. I enjoy maths, videogames, socializing and wiki-editing! My time zone is UTC-5 (EST/EDT), and I try to be online whenever possible.
