Scratch Wiki:General disclaimer

The Scratch Wiki is a site dedicated to online, collaborative documentation of the Scratch program, website, and community; that is, a voluntary association of individuals (and possibly groups) working together to enhance knowledge about Scratch. The structure of the project allows anyone with an Internet connection that has had an accepted account request to alter its content. Please be advised that nothing found here has necessarily been reviewed by people with the expertise required to provide you with complete, accurate or reliable information.

That is not to say that you will not find valuable and accurate information in the Scratch Wiki; much of the time you will. However, the Wiki cannot guarantee the validity of the information found here. Though there is an application procedure for editing, vandalism does nonetheless occasionally happen, so the content you find may have recently been changed or altered by someone whose opinion does not correspond with the state of knowledge in that area.
