The images that are shown in this template look squashed for me, being 14px wide instead of 50px wide...

HTML color codes (like #FF0000)
Can this template have support added for HTML color codes, like #FF0000? This would be very helpful a d seems to be a currently unavailable feature.

- It is there, you just have to put it in <nowiki> tags.

Width
Could there be an optional param that allows you to set the width?

Outdated appearance
This template needs to be updated to match the current visual design of the wiki (no shadow, default background #f2f2f2
, default border #d9d9d9
).

- Don't be so presumptuous. Changing this now would be a major visual shift on a lot of pages. Also, this template isn't necessarily for duplicating the Scratch/Wiki box styling - we have Template:Scratchwikiframe for that.
- That being said, I wouldn't necessarily be opposed to changing it on principle - just don't think that it "needs" to be changed. I'll wait for other opinions on this.
kenny2scratch Talk Contribs Directory 15:51, 3 April 2021 (UTC)- I'm also not against to it, but I also agree with @kenny2scratch. The difference between suggestion and the current situation is not that much (therefore may be redundant), and a change may cause overloading of the server due to transclusion. I will also comment after testing changes on a sandbox.
ahmetlii Talk Contributions Directory 16:14, 3 April 2021 (UTC)- After this, I think that the current situation is better, because otherwise there's a possibility about confusing what is the page name header and what is the template header(s). However, I think that the template could be more modifiable, like disabling/enabling border shadow, changing shadow color, etc.
ahmetlii Talk Contributions Directory 16:22, 3 April 2021 (UTC)- I don't think possibility of confusion is a good reason to make something inconsistent. This template looks exactly the same as the old box design, which means that it was originally intended to look the same — but if confusion is really a problem I suggest making all corners rounder instead of only the top ones.
