Quip

I think tables should be set up like this:

AND
A B Result
T T T
T T T
T T T
T T T

Maybe. :)
AND
A B Result
T T T
T T T
T T T
T T T
But if we're going to caption it, use table captions.

Oh, so that's how you caption...
Anyway, you agree with the new tables? Should I change them all?
Hardmath123 (talk | contribs) 10:31, 17 July 2012 (UTC)
That's how Wikipedia does it. Go ahead.
Scimonster (talk | contribs) 10:19, 18 July 2012 (UTC)
Done. What do you think?
Hardmath123 (talk | contribs) 13:00, 18 July 2012 (UTC)
I think it's easier for reviewers to see if you do it all in one edit. :P
For real, it looks good. More colorful.

Good way to display the huge pic at the end.

Ideas? I want to show the block definition for FLAG, the <<FLAG>and<FLAG>> input, and the output trails.

Yes. I just defined the size without putting it in a frame. It's a bit shrunken, but visible nonetheless.
Scimonster (talk | contribs) 08:00, 20 September 2012 (UTC)
I just changed the image so that it's smaller. It was smaller than i had made it here, so it got scaled up. :P

Scratch 2.0 does short circuit iirc

The section which says that Scratch doesn't short-circuit is outdated. Scratch 2.0 does not have errors (0/0=NaN, not an exception), so I speculate it was written in the days of 1.4. ActionScript has short-circuiting, whereas in small-talk it depends on the operator one chooses to use. Shall we put an obsolete tag there, or rewrite it into past tense?
Jokebookservice1 (talk | contribs) 13:21, 31 March 2018 (UTC)

Now Scratch 3 doesn't short circuit, so it is true again, though it isn't really relevant since reporter blocks (other than Pick Random) don't ordinarily have side effects and (as you mentioned) don't cause errors. Why is this article titled "Truth Table" rather than "Logical Operators" or maybe rather "Boolean"?

Yep, I agree with the rename; it doesn't really make sense to me that it is called "Truth Table" when it could be something else.

Make this an Article About Booleans and Logical Operators

I think this article might be more helpful if it didn't try to focus on truth tables. It could be called "Boolean", which is already the name of a redirect to Boolean Block, but links to there could just be changed to whichever article is appropriate.

Yes Done Boolean is now a disambiguation page pointing to here and Boolean Block
Jakel181 (talk | contribs) 17:40, 9 October 2019 (UTC)
Alright, but this article is still titled "Truth Table"...
