"Projects created in other languages"

Isn't that what the Advanced topics are for? I thought stuff here would be more like a Google SketchUp model or pixel art.

The description for the Advanced Topics forum says "Talk about technical aspects, advanced features, or Scratch Mods here" and doesn't seem to say that you can post things you made in other programming languages, unless it's a Scratch mod/extension. I'm pretty sure that anything you make in Java, BASIC, C++, etc. that isn't Scratch related belongs in the Things I'm Making and Creating forum.

That's how I've always interpreted it as well.

Yeah, but in reality, people post questions about many non-Scratch languages (mostly Java, C(variants), PHP and JavaScript) in the Advanced Topics.

That may be how it ends up, but that doesn't make it the right way to do it.

Yeah, what Sci said. People spammed in Misc, but that doesn't make it okay.
