Should we add something about 3.0 being compatible with mobile here? If no one responds I may do it anyway.

It's already mentioned:
Players that use html5 technology, such as the Sulfurous Player, Phosphorus Player, or the upcoming player in Scratch 3.0, make it possible to run scratch projects on almost all mobile platforms such as Android, iOS, and Windows Mobile.
It's not very obvious, but it's there. I think that's all it needs.

Section on history

Now that we have mobile capbility built into the core of Scratch 3.0, I think we should add a section about what was used before we had Scratch 3.0, or put that in its own article.

Mention the Mobile Studio?

Should we mention the mobile studio somewhere in the article so people know where they can find projects that are capable with mobile devices?

No, since it isn't really notable and isn't part of Scratch's history. It can also be mistaken as promotion.
