Possible rename?
I've heard somewhere that the copy of Scratch 13Oct04 that's currently available is actually a renamed Scratch 01Oct04 and that the actual 13Oct04 is lost; however, I can't find any reliable sources for this claim (in fact, I can only find a few assertations backing this up).

- I'm assuming you're talking about my conversation with Medians that's on his Scratch profile page. There are two sources for its release date, the Wiki page, and this archive. I'm not sure where either page got their source from, but I can ask Medians where he got the version from the archive from.

- I got it from the Google Drive of the people who found this build from somewhere and they also found Oct03, and they have a spreadsheet with the found builds, and it was thought to be found, but was not. However 1Oct04 is marked as found.

- That spreadsheet was where I first heard the claim that the real 13Oct04 was lost as well. My theory is that 13Oct04 is a renamed 01Oct04 and that both builds are exactly the same; the reason why the ST decided to do this may never be known, but my guess is that they did it to avoid confusion about the date of MAS714 (a few people might've thought that MAS714 started on October 1st if Scratch 01Oct04 was distributed instead of 13Oct04; it's quite a stretch, but there are several pairs of builds that are identical, so it'd make a surprising amount of sense).
