I think someone edited this page based on browser extensions.
On this page, it says:
If you give a link to a project, forum thread/post, studio, or wiki article in some project notes, it comes up as a link which says (link to project), (link to forums), (link to studio), or (link to wiki) respectfully. This makes it easier to make sense of links in the project notes. This can also be used with usernames, so @user will become a link. Using the hashtag symbol (#) before a word or phrase will transform it into a link for a search of the word or phrase. This can also be done in comments.
This makes me think that the text of the link will be the title of the project/forum/whatever. This is not the case without browser extensions. We should edit this to make it less ambiguous (such as saying "the link will become clickable"). I don't know if anyone will see this anytime soon, but I don't know if I should actually do this, so I'm asking for advice.

- @50_scratch_tabs: Yeah that's not the normal Scratch behavior, so we shouldn't be mentioning that on the Wiki.
