Uploading?
If you enable mesh, can you still share projects to the Scratch web site? This sounds like a ToS violation -- maybe the article should say so, where it's explaining how to shift-click-R enable it. —Brian Harvey (talk) 01:44, 10 June 2010 (UTC)
- I don't think it does. BTW - what's ToS?

- ToS = terms of service. and it doesnt violate the tos else the team would have said so already :) btw, why should it? --LS97 17:33, 24 June 2010 (UTC)
- Necropost: Pecola1 uploaded mesh projects and no-one complained, also there's a collab called "Mesh People" which makes projects with mesh.

4 Categories
Seems like a-lot; do we need the Scratch Modifications category?
Scimonster (talk | contribs) 07:40, 15 May 2011 (UTC)
- Actually, good point. It's neither an extension nor a modification. I'll remove both categories.
WeirdF (talk | contribs) 08:49, 15 May 2011 (UTC)- Actually, I think it is an extension. It adds to the original program, and even though it's included, you have to enable it. I'm going to put that category back.

"Even if they are on different computers"
I think it's especially for connecting different comps. Can someone reword that sentence it would sound really weird if we just replaced "even" with "especially." :P

Should we remove it? Almost every mod has mesh enabled. :S

- No, I don't think so. I think the thinking behind those pages are "If you're interesting in adding new features to Scratch, then you might also be interested in these Scratch modifications since they add new features, such as mesh."

Why have capital letters for both words in the "See also" and "External links" sections?
I mean, all the other sections have just the first word capitalized, and Wikipedia leaves these two sections with lowercase letters as well.

- for some reason people keep capitalising everything. even recent changes. :III
Veggieman001 (talk | contribs) 02:58, 22 October 2011 (UTC)- That's our wiki. I didn't notice the other sections are down; I'll fix that now. ;)
Scimonster (talk | contribs) 18:09, 22 October 2011 (UTC)- no but like why do we capitalise everything.
Veggieman001 (talk | contribs) 14:48, 23 October 2011 (UTC)- I like lowercasing things :3
Jonathanpb (talk | contribs) 03:58, 24 October 2011 (UTC)- I like uppercasing things. :P

Mesh Uses RSC Protocol
By the way, Mesh uses the Remote Sensors Protocol to deal with connections between Scratch and the server (whether Scratch is hosting or another program is). So I think that should be mentioned somewhere on the page.
I think we may also need an image to explain how Mesh works, since I don't think people realize broadcasts and variables are sent to all the clients and not just to the server.

- Why not do it yourself? ;)

What's the thing about Cloud Data and sharing between projects? A user on the Beta site believes this is true, but there is no evidence or reference to prove that this will happen.

- You can always remove it if it's incorrect.
