You're right... but I don't see how to replicate the block perfectly. :/ Should we just remove the workaround, or should we state that it isn't perfect?

Just Say that its no perfect. I'm still trying to figure out the mathematics of a workaround, but It would be a pretty long script.

It's mostly correct, to change by 180. I made up a list of the bounce directions here (ODT file), with my observations at the bottom. (A TXT with just the directions is here.)

Suggestions

The "Suggestions" sub-section suggests a number of blocks that I'm not sure are even possible. Are they? If not, should they remain in the article?

Well, once we have the bouncing algorithm corrected/found, they should be possible.

I'm just thinking that you'd have to know the angle of impact. The current block solves this because the slopes of the sides are known, but for sprites that don't even need to have continuous lines, I'm not sure it's possible.
