Removed "ninja'd"
Ninja'd is not a Scratch forum specific trend, or even a trend at all. It was already common forum lingo before the discussion forums were even made. It's kinda like saying "duplicate" is a trend.
Also oopsie if I'm not supposed to do a talk page this way

Support I'm pretty sure this is a thing in other forums too. This is less of a trend and more of a phrase.
ScratchCatHELLO — talk contribs user 23:51, 17 February 2021 (UTC)
- Posts saying 'duplicate' are expected in the forums. Ninja'd is a fun way of saying that someone posted the exact same thing as them within a very short time, and not everyone might use it. Additionally, trends that come from outside of Scratch but still popular here are documented as well.

- Shouldn't these pages document trends specific to Scratch? Otherwise we could stuff popular internet meme on these pages as well.
Fdreerf (talk | contribs) 19:06, 26 February 2021 (UTC)
No Support. I don't think you should remove a trend just because it's common elsewhere. It's just like Licky Icons and Rickrolling. Should we remove those as well? This page lists trends that are common on Scratch. Ninja'd posts, Licky Icons, and Rickrolling are all common. Also, if this was removed, people would ask A LOT in QaS about ninja'd posts, so this page is helpful.

No Support for the same reason as ScratchCat1038.

Remove Distraction Dance
I haven't seen this on the forums, and this is phrased as if it's a main site trend. This should probably be removed or moved to a different trends page. Should I remove this? I'm also not sure about whether image signatures count as a trend. ScratchCatHELLO — talk contribs user 22:45, 10 March 2021 (UTC)
Support I think so, and even though i am on the forums a lot, I have never seen this trend on the forums, so I think it should be moved.

How does a picture of me being a KOTP Self-Advertise?
It's an example, that's a bend. How could it be self advertiising? I'm not advertising anything. The "image signatures" section contains (not naming and shaming)'s signature, why isn't that taken down then> Dhfbei8987 (talk | contribs)
- I think because you added the image of yourself, While I don't think Ihatr added the image of his siggy. so he isn't promoting himself, but you can be as you added the image of yourself.

Generation X Signature Trend
There's a trend I've been seeing recently in people's signatures:
β | Generation X: When you first see this copy it to the start of your sig and change Generation by 1. Social experiment. | β |
Should this be added?

- I personally haven't seen any examples of this, can you link to a few posts that have this?

- https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/post/3591563/ and https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/post/3227026 are some examples.

- I used to have one of these signatures: here and scroll down (ignore the random stuff). There's at least 384 iterations of this on a single branch, so this can't be completely nonexistent.

- I've been seeing this in a lot of people's signatures recently, so I agee.

About chewyhammer posts
Wouldn't this be classed as user generated content? And even if it isn't then it isn't that notable. Should it be removed or edited to be less focused on a particular user? Adzboy β’ Talk β’ Contributions β’ Scratch Profile 18:28, 18 May 2022 (UTC)
- My vote is for removing it.
Adzboy β’ Talk β’ Contributions β’ Scratch Profile 19:47, 18 May 2022 (UTC)
- I suppose so. It's not even too common enough for me to consider it a trend, and the entry even openly admitted that.
Super_Scratch_Bros20 (talk / contribs) 02:13, 19 May 2022 (UTC)
- I agree, I don't think this qualifies as a trend.
Jackson49 (talk | contribs) 15:09, 19 May 2022 (UTC)
- Ok, I'll remove it as it seems like the general opinion so far is to remove it. If anyone doesn't want it removed then please bring it up here for discussion.

#UncensorScratchAuth
Is this a forum trend? Many people are using this as their siggy.γ-iviedwall-γβγtalkγcontributionsγπ±γ 03:29, 1 August 2022 (UTC)
- This might fall into "user-generated content", but I'm not sure.

- Really the important part isn't the signatures but the actual complaint, which may fit under List of Controversial Topics on Scratch (in my opinion it's not a big enough deal to go there).

The Intro

To me, the sentence, βThis article lists forum trendsβ seems unnecessary. That should be pretty self-explanatory. It looks like itβs been there for a while, but none of the other articles (that split from Scratch Trends) have a sentence like that. I think the second sentence would work fine as an introduction since it explains what Forum Trends are. Jackson49 (talk | contribs) 05:20, 15 September 2022 (UTC)
- I agree. We normally like to start with a sentence that makes clear what the rest of the article is about, but the second sentence does that just as well.

Color or Colour?
On the "Accessibility Color Changes" article, they use the word "color". On the "Be High Contrast" section of this article, they use "colour". Does it matter whether we use American English or UK English? Super_Scratch_Bros20 (talk / contribs) 21:49, 30 June 2023 (UTC)
