Tail recursion
Does anyone know if the tail recursion eliminates the built-in delay? I'd experiment, but I'm on vacation with a computer that doesn't have Scratch

- Hmm - I'm not totally sure, maybe you want to ask on the Scratch forums? :)

- no need, I just downloaded it and tried it out, and tail recursion is actually slightly slower :(
MoreGamesNow (talk | contribs) 12:21, 16 June 2012 (UTC) - Yeah, but with 2.0 custom blocks we should be able to create fast recursive scripts. :D

Performance of Many Loops
It is often reported that many forever loops can make a project "lag" or run slow. Is there actually any evidence for this? More loops could correlate with lag due to running more blocks, but you can't really say that the forever loop was the problem. Alternatives like broadcasts are likely to be slower and combining scripts is likely not going to have a measurable impact.
