Double footnote
The footnote is doubled—it should read different for 2 and 3. Hardmath123 (talk | contribs) 15:51, 6 February 2012 (UTC)
- I feel like they should have the same footnote, [2], but I'm not sure how to do that :/

Curator Stuff
If someone (guilty smile) looks frequently at the Curator Komputor and finds out who the next curator is, should they update the curator list page? Technoboy10 (talk | contribs) 14:53, 31 March 2012 (UTC)
- Nah, because we can't really know the order that they'll go in and it's best to just leave future information to the future.
Veggieman001 (talk | contribs) 15:03, 31 March 2012 (UTC)
- Okey-dokey then.

New Name
Perhaps this could be called List of Curators. We could also name it: Curator/List of Curators. Joletole (talk | contribs) 14:19, 29 October 2012 (UTC)
- Perhaps the second option would work.
Scimonster (talk | contribs) 10:18, 7 November 2012 (UTC)
New organization
Why do we have to have a list of all the curators, then a second list with all of the same ones but only split into 1.4 and 2.0? I think we only need the second one. I only wish I knew how to get a wiki list to start at a certain number... Mathfreak231 (talk | contribs) 00:07, 8 August 2013 (UTC)
- It's not a permanent change. I was just seeing it how it looked before anything happened. If it were permanent, I would have removed the double cite notes.
Curiouscrab (talk | contribs) 00:44, 8 August 2013 (UTC)
- Then you should have done it in a sandbox. What we can do have a note by OrcaCat saying that he took his curatorship in two parts - a week before 2.0, and a week during 2.0.

- CC, look what you caused. I put it back.
Scimonster (talk | contribs) 15:44, 8 August 2013 (UTC)
- Somewhat related, I figured out how to make an ordered list start at a number. See my sandbox.

Future curators
May I add a future curators section? It could help users not a) following thenextcurator and b) one that don't have chooper100's extension find out the next curators. Please notify me on my talk page.

Does anyone agree that this could become outdated?
It seems like a good idea, but when I come here, I see that it's not updated (this page [the number and the new person] and the curator wiki page [the number and the new person]). What do you think we should do?
Also, did I put this in the right place?
Bright-Idea (talk | contribs) 23:46, 14 September 2016 (UTC)
- Yes, it's in the right place
Most of the editors are pretty good about updating this page, so if it does become outdated it'll only be for a week or so.
Pianogirl84 ♬ Talk ♬ Contributions 00:17, 15 September 2016 (UTC)
- Sure, theoretically, it could become outdated. However, that's in the same way that every page on this wiki could become outdated if there was no one updating them. I find that we generally manage to update this page pretty quickly to be honest, it doesn't take a lot of work really.
Hamish752 (talk | contribs) 09:04, 15 September 2016 (UTC)
- Okay. It's just that someone might update the "There have been 219 curators", but then they forget to change it at the bottom of the page, or something similar.
Bright-Idea (talk | contribs) 18:02, 18 September 2016 (UTC)
- Well, it's like 5 curators behind right now, so I'll update it tomorrow if no one else does

cinnamon_bun_puff is listed twice
cinnamon_bun_puff is listed twice in the curator list. Should the duplicate be removed?

List is wrong
Za-Chary is listed as both a current and future FPC, but he should only be on there once. And the future FPC marshmallowmuffins isn't on the future FPCs. It seems it's been locked to be updated by normal wiki editors though. EIephant_Lover (talk | contribs) 00:27, 17 September 2018 (UTC)
- Thanks for noticing! I've updated the future list. For future reference, the list of future curators is transcluded within the list of curators. The page where you can edit future curators is here.
Done

Future FPC List Needs To Be Updated
The list (currently alekap, Lizzy_06, KARATEGIRL2008, laymonade) needs to be updated because alekap is now a past FPC, Lizzy_06 is the current FPC, and sillystrawberry will be after laymonade. Cinnamon_bun_puff (talk | contribs) 01:38, 30 December 2018 (UTC)

regarding -TheGreenNinja-'s shift
@-TheGreenNinja-'s shift was extended by a week since the curator following him took a hiatus off of scratch and is no longer FPC, so his shift is now exceptionally two weeks. Should we mention that? It's quite a rare event since last time it happened was in 2015
NilsTheBest (talk | contribs) 20:29, 28 November 2019 (UTC)
- Good eye! I will mention it once his shift is over so WikiMonitor won't be disturbed.

I think this page should be made unprotected. It would result in faster updating of the content.

Changing names
There should be permanent guidelines on when to change a scratchers name (currently its just case-by-case basis). I would say that when the scratch team renames an account, the name should be updated, but when a user deletes their account and starts a new one, it should not be. This is what has happened so far, and is arguably the best path in the future. Concerns? Naleksuh (talk | contribs) 04:12, 9 August 2020 (UTC)
- If the ST manually renames the account, that qualifies for updating the name here, I agree.
- When it comes to moving accounts, I think that if the destination account becomes FPC, then both the old and new accounts should be listed as separate FPCs. If the destination doesn't become FPC, then the original account is listed and the destination is not. Does that make sense to you?

Add front page glitch
As I am writing this, there is a glitch where the curated projects row does not appear. I think a sidenote should be added under the current curator about the glitch. Here is a reference that can be used. Jammum (💬 Talk - ✍️ Contribs - 🐱 Scratch) 17:06, 26 February 2021 (UTC)
- I am seeing this too. I'm holding off on adding this until we have an explanation (or if it's restored without explanation, we can assume it's a bug).

Incomplete sentence for moonlark-‘s footnote
The footnote for moonlark-'s list item has an incomplete sentence or clause at the end of it (which was left over from several removed revisions containing the previous username). Jammum (💬 Talk - ✍️ Contribs - 🐱 Scratch) 06:21, 14 April 2021 (UTC)
- I made it a complete sentence.
jvvg (talk | contribs) 16:51, 14 April 2021 (UTC)
- By 'incomplete sentence', I mean the 'after the fact' at the end.
Jammum (💬 Talk - ✍️ Contribs - 🐱 Scratch) 17:19, 14 April 2021 (UTC)
- Wiktionary's example has a sentence ending with "after the fact," so I would assume it's reasonable to end a sentence that way.

number of FPCs are wrong
The number of curators in the list is 473 (including the current one) but instead it says 'There have currently been 483 curators including the current one.' but the list has 473 curators in it. I assume this is some typo or something. ScratchLover506 (talk | contribs) 10:58, 14 August 2021 (UTC)
