I think that the section about making the entire site purple should be in a different section. It's perhaps the most significant color change. What are your thoughts? Super_Scratch_Bros20 (talk / contribs) 14:24, 28 June 2023 (UTC)
- I also agree actually, yeah.User:MaterArc/Signature 14:27, 28 June 2023 (UTC)
- I'm not sure if that's necessary, it really is just an implemented color change.

- Someone already did it. Initially, it was part of "new banner".

- Oh, I see. That does make sense. I thought you meant creating a new h2 for it.

Optional colors
It says in this article that the Scratch Team will not reverse these changes. But should there be more info -- something along the lines of, "However, they have stated that they may look into optional color choices in the future."? I'm not sure. While this info is true and it might help calm down the controversy, it might also give some Scratchers false hope. Super_Scratch_Bros20 (talk / contribs) 21:45, 30 June 2023 (UTC)
- Where have they stated that? Is it the stickying of topic:296027, or something else?

- Interesting. It does probably make sense to include it.

The Citation Needed on Flame Wars
There's a sentence about flame wars in the Controversy section, stating that the color change has caused flame wars. It is followed by a "citation needed". But is a citation really needed?
In order to cite a flame war, we would be sending a link to content which is breaking the Community Guidelines. In reality, this content should actually be reported and deleted. It feels inappropriate to cite this on the wiki.
With that being said, is it ok for me to remove the "citation needed"? Super_Scratch_Bros20 (talk / contribs) 20:16, 4 July 2023 (UTC)
- You have a point, you can remove it.
