What can we do about the dead links?
3 of the 4 references on this page are dead links, because they all come from the same forum topic, which was dustbinned. I checked archive.org, and they did not crawl it at all (and nobody told it to because nobody expected it to be dustbinned.) Another possibility I've thought of is ScratchDB. Yes, I know it's been having issues, but somebody may be able to pull it up on Ocular, which somehow still works. Of course, ScratchDB is always behind by a few days, so it may not have indexed the topic before it was dustbinned. However, ScratchDB (Not Ocular, but ScratchDB) is blocked at my school, so I won't be able to check until later today. The last thing I've thought of is to find other topics created about it (I have [had?] a list of those in my stickied topic) and find quotes of that original topic. Feel free to contribute other ideas!

- @50_scratch_tabs I think I found the topic on Ocular here. 8to16, you could find the posts. Sorry if this is incorrect, as the date of the topic's first post was Nov 3 , but the forums came back up Nov 2 per the article.

- @ThisIsTemp1 That seems good, but I have some good things about that and some bad things. Good thing #1: I can confirm you have the right topic. Ocular's (or really ScratchDB's) post dates are often a bit off, especially when the forums go down. I figured this out because posts inside a dustbinned topic redirect to the original dustbinned topic before displaying the 403. (You can also use that to tell if a single post or the whole topic has been dustbinned) Good thing #2: You probably knew this, but you can use ocular.jeffalo.net/post/xxx to link to a specific post instead of a topic. Bad thing: I can't access it right now. I'm not on a school network with stuff blocked, but for some reason, I can't access anything on Ocular. If I had to guess I'd say it was something on ScratchDB's end. So if you, or anyone else, sees that it works, save it on archive.org. Thanks for coming to my TED talk.

- @ThisIsTemp1 I archive.org'd the Ocular of the dustbinned posts. I don't have time to change the citations right now though.
