Teaching
The Cartoon Network TV channel has partnered with Scratch to give more children exposure to the world of programming. So far, Scratch has collaborated with Cartoon Network on three events.
Pursuitery is an online website designed to connect with kids who want to learn more. One of the classes featured on Pursuitery is a "Coding with Scratch" activity, linked to in the Scratch website.
EPAM Systems hosts a program called e-kids that teaches coding to kids. It uses Scratch alongside a few other tools.
NHK has a TV program named "Why!? Programming". It is broadcasted almost every week since June 2017. NHK also provides a community to show Scratchers' projects.
The Hour Of Code Program is a program that allows schools to give students the opportunity to try out different coding websites, like Scratch. It happens every December.
Other
In 2014, the National Science Olympiad had two events known as "Game On" which consisted of various coding challenges on Scratch. The creations made were then judged by Science Olympiad judges.
Shaun's Game Academy is a UK-exclusive competition hosted on shaunsgameacademy.co.uk for the best Scratch game project relating to Shaun the Sheep. The webpage features Scratch along with a getting started tutorial on how to understand the program.
Around September 18th, 2015, many news outlets linked to a Scratch project known as SpaceX Falcon 9 Lander. The project became so popular that Scratch began experiencing connectivity problems due to the large increase in website activity.
