Userpages appearing in the contents box

In the contents box, which also appears on Scratch Wiki:April Fools, mentions templates and userpages as well, and are outside of mainspace, which probably most Wiki traffic goes to. Would it be possible for the Contents page on the joke version of the Scratch Wiki main page to only show mainspace pages, or would that require making a MediaWiki extension (although making an extension to make that happen might not be worth it as it would be only used there mainly)?

Limit the number of joke news articles

A lot of the edits to this page are adding joke news to the respective section of this page. I think too many are being added an that the category should reduced to a few and no more can be added without consensus.

I agree. Most joke news gets pushed down way before AF, so it won't even be seen. Maybe no more than 5, since that's how many news articles there are on the real front page.

Well, maybe we can disallow editing the news section to certain users. But removing the news section completely isn't a good idea whatsoever.

It is getting long, but I don't think it's a good idea to stop adding new jokes. If it has to be kept short, maybe it should be "burned down by Kaj" or "eaten by an Evil Kumquat" every couple of months.

I think we should limit it to what actually fits on the screen, since virtually nobody is going to scroll down on that. I also think we should give priority to new content that has not yet appeared for April Fools day and start with removing what already appeared in 2021.

I removed a lot of the news articles a while ago (before I became an EW) in case it made the page too large or bloated. I am fine with the current number of news articles.

That was a good temporary fix, but there's currently no rules stopping people from adding more. Personally, I don't think there should be, but most people disagree, so they should probably be made.

Protect this page

This should be protected since it is the AF version of the main page

It is best if it gets protected for 1th April and 31th March as it is a easy target for Community Guidelines braking content but the April fools rules say:

“

Any Wiki contributor is allowed to edit these pages and create new ones.

”

so I do not agree or disagree.

It is quite easy to make overzealous edits to this page (quite a few recent edits might make the page more difficult to read), additionally, many joke news items added would eventually be removed in 'debloatings'. I am quite neutral on whether this page should be protected or not.

Sort-of bump, but I think this page should be protected to EW+ (and possibly, this page being entirely remade). Almost all recent edits to this page bloated the page up, which make the page even harder to read for casual readers. Content could still be added by user request or when content can be rotated in the run-up to the next April Fools' Day.

Contents box not showing ALL pages.

It is not showing all the pages it is just showing the first page of whatever the index software they used. Maybe make one for the second page ON the index page they make. It is only showing up to the letter S. Someone fix it please

Sussy bots removal disagree

Recently, in the change logs, someone deleted sussy bots. But, there is no proof of people agreeing on it. Someone reverted it, and I agree on the revert.

Please fix your signature. Yeah, I deleted sussy bots when mrsrec requested deletion on a page, but I reverted due to someone else reverting the deletion template.
