< Scratch Wiki:New User Recommendations
Administrator Guidelines
1.) Review a User Recommendation. Check whether they are eligible for a wiki account, whether they seem unlikely to join, and that they embody the good character traits of a Wikian. Make sure that the user hasn't already been invited through this procedure.
2.) If you decide to send an invite, add the user and name of the recommender to the spreadsheet (to be shared).
3.) If a user responds, note what kind of response was given.
Sample Invitations:
Dear @_______! I am a Scratch Wiki Administrator (https://en.scratch-wiki.info/wiki/Scratch_Wiki_Home) and I am happy to inform you that a Wikian has recommended that you join us as an editor. The Wiki serves nearly five million people from 196 countries each year, serving as the primary source of documentation for the Scratch programming language. I invite you to apply for an account here: https://en.scratch-wiki.info/wiki/Scratch_Wiki:Become_a_contributor ... and I look forward to seeing you on the Wiki soon! Thank you for your time.
