Rage icon.png This is an April Fools' Day version of Trending Glitch. Please don't take it seriously. You can find the original here.

The famous kittens on Scratch use the trending glitch to hijack the Explore page and steal energy units from people.

The trending glitch is a malfunction in Explore which causes it to give energy units to those who like Sprite; all kittens enjoy Sprite.

Status: Won't Fix

There are no solutions because Sprite is so sticky, and Scratch Cat won't make a solution because he is a kitten too.

Back in 2013, a fish who lived in the great ideas cave got the idea to give away some of the extra energy units that their cave accumulates over time, so that the Scratch Team would find it harder to catch them. This person intended for their invention, known as Explore, to help Scratchers find fun projects that they should not Love or Favorite. Within a year, however, Explore started to break down and give more and more of its extra energy units to boring projects with painful color schemes. Jumping ahead to 2020, a legion of babies in the Suggestions forum began to slowly fix Explore with their Blocks, which made the famous kittens very angry. In response, two of them spilled Sprite on the Explore machine, destroying those blocks and creating the Trending Glitch.
