The Set Stretch to () block let you stretch out other blocks. Gobo added it in Scratch 7.3 because he thought that the blocks weren't wide enough. The block was removed after one Scratcher stretched a block so far that it ripped a hole in the space-time continuum, causing Scratch's servers to shut down for (-17.3 * π) hours. After they fixed the servers, they released Scratch 7.4, which replaced the block with the Set Squeeze to () block. Another Scratcher squeezed it so much that it compressed the space-time continuum, rendering all time machines useless and freezing time and keeping all matter squeezed into pellets forever. Yes, we are less flexible than we could be.
- ↑ "They don't take up enough room on the screen!" -Gobo
- ↑ "Due to the fact that space-time is currently being slowly destroyed, we had to temporarily shut down the servers for some quick maintenence. We apologize for the inconvenience, and we hope to be back online soon!" -Paddle2See
