The Set Stretch to () block let you stretch out other blocks. Gobo added it in Scratch 7.3 because he thought that the blocks weren't wide enough.[1] The block was removed after one Scratcher stretched a block so far that it ripped a hole in the space-time continuum, causing Scratch's servers to shut down for (-17.3 * π) hours.[2]

  1. "They don't take up enough room on the screen!" -Gobo
  2. "Due to the fact that space-time is currently being slowly destroyed, we had to temporarily shut down the servers for some quick maintenence. We apoligize for the inconvenience, and we hope to be back online soon!" -Paddle2See
