|This is an April Fools' Day version of () + () (block). Please don't take it seriously. You can find the original here.|
The () + () (block), also known as the Addition Ban of 1844, was enacted by the Scratch Team in 1844. It was later followed by the Subtraction Ban of 1848 and finally, the Math Ban of 1856.
The bans were put in place to make math illegal to learn outside of Scratch, as learning math outside of Scratch wastes precious time making complex projects for the Scratch Team to turn into energy units.
Sadly, the references were eaten by an evil kumquat.
