Scratch 06Oct06 is the release of Scratch created on October 6, 2006. It was not released to the public, and was originally found through John Maloney's website. This version followed 27Jul06 and preceded 16Dec06. Scratch 06Oct06 is also officially known and recognized as version 0.9.[citation needed]
