Scratch 06Oct06 is the release of Scratch created on October 6, 2006. It was not released to the public, and was originally found through John Maloney's website. This version followed 27Jul06 and preceded 16Dec06. Scratch 06Oct06 is also officially known and recognized as version 0.9.^{[citation needed]}

New Features

• say [] for () secs
• (size)
• round()
• Italiano (italian) was added as a possible block language
• A "help" option was added when right-clicking a block, although it does nothing in this version.

Removed Features

• say nothing:: looks
• beep:: sound

Other Changes

• The set costume to [ v]:: looks and change costume by ():: looks blocks are now called set background to [ v]:: looks and change backdrop by ():: looks respectively when switching to the stage
• The option to create a Variable for a specific sprite was moved to the variable creation menu
