New Wikians is a role that is given to users immediately after they join the Wiki. It allows users to edit at the editsemiprotected level.
Privileges
New Wikians are only given the editsemiprotected right which allows them to edit or move pages protected at the "semi-protected" level.
Restrictions
In addition to not being able to edit pages protected for Wikians and above, New Wikians also cannot edit others' userpages unless {{open userpage}} is on the page and can only make one edit every three minutes.
Demographics
This group is applied instantly after an account has been accepted and created; all confirmed accounts will start out with the "user" and "New Wikians" usergroups. Accounts that are 1 month old and that have made at least 50 edits will be automatically added to the "Wikians" usergroup.
