Fix Scratch Wiki Home

Scratch Wiki Home is currently broken on the Vector skin with a wide screen. This can be fixed by replacing the part with the sections with:

The first div at the top (the one with width 945px) will also need to be removed (also remember to remove the closing tag near the bottom). The visual difference is very small (generally unnoticeable). This change will make it easier to add or change sections in the future.

Edit summary error

I've recently edited the Probability Wheel article. However, I accidentally pressed ↵ Enter instead of ← Backspace while trying to fix a typo in the edit summary. As a result, the new version of the article was submitted and the unfinished and typo the version of the edit summary was sumbitted (lowercase instead of uppercase "c"). Can anyone edit it to be something more sensible ("Changed code element to Scratch block element for a list")?

I replaced File:Host change warning.jpeg, File:Host change confirm.jpeg and File:Host change confirm final.jpeg in PNG in purple (File:Host change warning.png, File:Host change confirm.png and File:Host change confirm password.png), so please delete the former JPEG files as they are replaced. Unprotect an Image

@London11gm — I'm not an admin, but as far as I know, accounts cannot be deleted. The best I could see happening in this case is they could block you for a temporary amount of time and then unblock you when you get accepted. More likely (and this is not an official opinion) is that they'll just let you stay as it is. I think it's perfectly okay for you to keep editing as long as the edits are good-faith and helpful. Thanks for helping around!

List of FPCs is broken

On the List of FPCs page, the current FPC is supposed to be BalockeyBuilds, but it still says JJPinger. Although this is not visible on the Scratch homepage, because the Scratch homepage is broken right now, the Wiki homepage still says it in the Scratch News that BalockeyBuilds is the curator. So, can this be fixed?

update MediaWiki:Common.css to add this fix that removes the breadcrumb at the top of () / () (block):

User created a template without approval

Hey, a user created a template called "For Techincal Reasons" (Template:Technical_Reasons) (which was suggested in the Community portal#) without approval/before the discussion reached a consensus.

@GAMS2 As the person who put the template into mainspace, I'm going to argue that it did reach enough consensus for the reason that, even after a few weeks of of time to discuss (which I think should be plenty of time for editors to take a look at the discussion), there was no opposition against the template. The truth is that most editors simply don't care or don't known enough to participate in some conversations; for example, I didn't partake in the Twitter/X discussion because I didn't really feel strongly either way. I'm assuming that a few other editors read the conversation, and the fact that they didn't leave any additional comments says to me that they're fine with creating the template.

Additionally, with people like @Han614698 gone and @Purin2022 seemingly inactive, a lot of the Wiki consists of new editors who might not know how to partake in conversations (I didn't know that the Community Portal existed until about a year of editing on the Wiki, which is probably my fault, but my point still stands). I didn't want to leave the template in limbo forever, and since there's unlikely to be any new contributors to the conversation (since it's no longer at the bottom of the Community Portal), I decided to make the template so that it wouldn't be stuck in the Not Done section of the community portal like a lot of other suggestions have succumb to. If any admins don't agree with this decision, I'm fine with them moving it out of mainspace, although I ask for them to be mindful of the difficult to get even four people to participate in a conversation of the portal right now.

Edit Conflict, lol. What I was originally going to say is below:

I actually don't have anything against the suggestion, and even support it. Plus, I actually agree that it getting sent to the "Not Done" page would potentially put it into limbo. The problem that I have though, is that we have rules for a reason, that aren't meant to be broken, and you adding this template without proper approval, breaks said rules. (My full explaination/reasoning as to why the rules, especially regarding creating templates shouldn't be broken, please ask on my User Talk page, as this is not the place to do so and I don't want to clutter up Admin Requests.)

If you had gotten an "OK" from a Sysop/EW (I forget which one applies here) before creating the template, it probably would have been fine, and we would be done with it.

@KongTullman Someone with the PFP uses that image in their signature, so this most likely won't happen as it would be against userspace policy. Upload your image separately instead.
